Stopped by to pass time it was really entertaining. Lots to look at. It was like a mini animal museum. While the husband looked at fishing gear I got to see live huge fish in the large aquarium. They had stiffed animals throughout. A place to shoot bow and arrows. The bargain cave was pretty cool found a great bargain!

On a recent trip with 3 grandchildren(ages8, 10, 10), the weather turned cold and windy in Austin....too cold to go to the zoo! Lists in hand, we went to Cabala's in Buda and took group pictures of the animals and other items we were seeking. Not only did the kids have a blast but they paid more attention to the... More

I went with my family. The aquarium is great. The store is huge it has a bit for every single member of the family. The amount of guns is amazing. I really enjoyed going there and will return.

Store personnel were very helpful in showing choice of merchandise as well as being proficient in paperwork required for my latest purchase. The store is an absolute paradise for browsing sportsmen with all the different merchandise and displays throughout the store.

This store is a real experience. They are stocked with all the good merchandise that Cabela's offers and the store is a treat to shop in. The aquarium is wonderful and there are several different well done mounts on display. Cabela's has it all and the whole family will enjoy the store while you are getting what you need for... More

This place has a lot to look at. They have a stream running through the store with real fish in it. They also have a huge aquarium that you can walk through and look at the types of native fish. They have a restaurant, but I have never eaten there. They also have this shooting gallery area that takes coins.

Cabela's is more than just a sporting goods store for outdoorsy people who like to get dirty. It's so many different things that it's hard to classify it. If you are weirded out by taxidermy or hunting stuff, this won't be your cup of tea. We aren't hunting people, but the place is so awe-inspiring that it doesn't matter to... More

My daughter calls this a big stuffed zoo. It's a great place to take kids to see the taxidermied animals, has lots of great hunting and camping supplies, as well as fishing gear and clothes. There's a small aquarium, lots of taxidermied animals, a fudge shop, and a pretty decent restaurant. It's a great place to spend some time when... More

Just down the road is a fabulous place called CABELA'S. Has a ton of outdoor sporting things to buy as well as clothing, shoes and boots. Camping selection is great too. Upstairs they have a restaurant and a fun play shooting gallery. You know the ones that you shoot to something "like a tin can" and it lights up. Fun... More

Hunters and outdoorsman paradise! Unfortunately, I hate hunting, so this was a weird place to visit for me. The amount of taxidermy inside was staggering, and I would have enjoyed learning about the variety of animals here IF they weren't dead. However, they had a great selection of optics and binoculars (I'm a birder), and I saw hunting, camping, and... More
