I have not yet bought anything from the store but I have my eye on a few things I just moved nearby this place and I am getting to know the area so I will soon be shopping. There are many great deals and a lot of weekend events for the kids.

This is my wife and I first time ever to visit a Cabela's, I was in awe in the vastness of the building and all of the stuff that was available. Got to see lots of things I had never seen before, got some free samples of food, just had to buy something to say I was at a Cabela's.... More

I take out of towners here all the time. A fun place to experience. Lots of things to do and see. There is also a place to sit and eat. The food is okay. Don't forget to check out the candy/fudge room for free samples! Lots of places to take cute pictures!

Not far from San Marcos, this Cabelas has all of the standard Cabela features with pretty easy access off the highway. There is a gun check as soon as you enter the front door. Water oriented products were aplenty. The animal collection was a good size. They had an shooting range for the kids and cafeteria on the second floor.... More

If you are out shopping for camping stuff it's nice to do so in a cool fun and interesting place. Yes, it's pricey. But you are paying for the ambiance. I love seeing my family get excited about our upcoming adventures in the mountain. Cabelas makes planning our camping trip special.

As someone who browses the Cabelas catalog just for fun. being in one of their mega-stores is like heaven. Fascinating to look around, easy to shop in. Too easy to shop in ;) I didn't really need that $140 leatherman knife, but.... Love the place. Need to win the lottery

We went to walk off dinner right before they closed. We were looking for male shorts. We liked the 5.11 brand but only had 2 pair and both were the wrong size. Really didn't see help but figured they were getting ready to close. Store was clean. Prices were pretty expensive. Didn't see many sale items, at least not what... More

Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Kids love the aquarium and animals as well! There is a restaurants with interesting eats as well. The gun selection is very good and ammo is plenty.

We had heard great things about this place and we decided to stop by. Outside it looks fantastic and at first glance seems bigger than Bass Pro Shops. There are some cool features such as the aquarium (Bass Pro has the same) and the stuffed animals (Bass Pro has the same just not the winter animals). However, the store seems... More

The stuffed animal displays and rooms along with the aquarium. It is always interesting to see what is new in Camping and Fishing supplies and Cabela's is the headquarters for that.
