We've been to Pleasant Hill Winery a handful of times, and the experience always brings us back. The number and style of wines available varies by season and by year, so we always kick off our visit with a tasting. Our server, Holly, was delightful. Fun, lively, personable, and knowledgable of the wines and the area. When you're done with... More

This was our last stop on the bluebonnet wine trail. Both wines we tasted were good. The tasting area was small but quaint. Had the weather been better I'm sure we would have stayed longer or enjoyed our visit more. The staff was friendly.

There is a small fee for tasting which is NOT shown on their website. The wine was generally not bad. There was a good selection of dry to sweet. Lots of narrow stairs to get upstairs to the tasting room. Could be a problem if you have bad knees.

They offer tastings and a tour of the winery. We arrived right after a tour and didn’t have time to wait for the next tour so we didn’t get that experience. The tasting is four wines for 5 dollars. They were heavy into the sweet wines, which I do not enjoy, but my companion liked several of them. The gift... More

we took a tour of this small winery and learned alot about the wine making process on a smaller scale. After the tour we had the option to try either dry or sweet wines and they even paired it with some food.

It took awhile for the lady to warm up to us. the wines were pretty decent especially if you like sweet wines. they did let us bring our own food in when we bought a glass of wine. she seemed hesatant but she agreed. tasting was pretty cheap 5 bucks for four tastings and they even did a paring for... Unfortunately we visited out of the season so unable to take in the tasting. Bought a few bottles to take home and savor. Very pleasant tastes. Will assure we go back in October when the wine season is in fast flow and take advantage of the wineries tour. Trevor & Jan Banks

Three wineries in town. One didn't have a tour the other was 100% outside, this one was 90% in a 60 degree wine cellar. It was heaven just that alone but I learned a few new things this time which is why I don't mind going on so many different ones. This was my favorite winery in the Brenham area... More

Very small, quiet, nice winery. Very small inside, when a tour bus arrived we could barely move in the wine tasting area. Wine was nice. Didn't spend more than 1 hour here. Over all it was a nice stop.

Pleasant Hills Winery is as pleasant as it's name implies from the sweet couple that owns it to all the unique trinkets scattered throughout the store. I spent over an hour between wine tastings wandering around and wanting to buy everything I saw. The owner definitely loves purple just as much as I do! At the other end of the... More
