Unfortunately we visited out of the season so unable to take in the tasting. Bought a few bottles to take home and savor. Very pleasant tastes. Will assure we go back in October when the wine season is in fast flow and take advantage of the wineries tour. Trevor & Jan Banks

Three wineries in town. One didn't have a tour the other was 100% outside, this one was 90% in a 60 degree wine cellar. It was heaven just that alone but I learned a few new things this time which is why I don't mind going on so many different ones. This was my favorite winery in the Brenham area... More

Very small, quiet, nice winery. Very small inside, when a tour bus arrived we could barely move in the wine tasting area. Wine was nice. Didn't spend more than 1 hour here. Over all it was a nice stop.

Pleasant Hills Winery is as pleasant as it's name implies from the sweet couple that owns it to all the unique trinkets scattered throughout the store. I spent over an hour between wine tastings wandering around and wanting to buy everything I saw. The owner definitely loves purple just as much as I do! At the other end of the... More

Very quiet and deserted, but at least it was open during the week. Very beautiful inside. Wines were good, not excellent. Friendly server though.

Came this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. We had an absolute blast. I had a party of 14 and they accommodated us very well...even with the crazy storm outside! Our party is looking forward to trying it again one day. The wine selections were great, we had fun being winos.

I paid to take the tour of the winery. I had some questions for the winemaker who happens to also be the owner. I showed up early hoping to speak with him. I first spoke to a younger gentleman who worked there and he was very friendly but could not answer my questions. He told me I should speak with... More

Pleasant Hill Winery is just a short drive from our B&B. We send all our guests out to enjoy this lovely spot in the country. The vintners are extremely knowledgeable, the wines have won all kinds of awards and there is nothing better than sitting on their deck with a food & wine pairing! The Blac du Bois is wonderful... We originally found this winery courtesy of Ant Street Inn. The Blanc du Bois was set out with cheese and crackers for the social hour and we enjoyed it while rocking on the second story balcony. It was heaven and for the first time in my life I got a second glass of white wine! I am a red fan... More
