What a fantastic place! This landmark is beautifully restored with attention to every possible detail. The cafe is bright and delightful with mouthwatering treats. The gift and clothing sections are sheer perfection for those who love whimsical and unique finds. Sure to be another Boerne gem!

Beautifully re-done building now houses up-scale retail space and coffee shop/bakery. Small alcove sets out history of building since its construction in 1894, depicting photos and articles of its various uses (including as town library at one time). This building is historic and a landmark for Boerne. It was a library and now is being converted into a shopping center. I think its a nice building to go and see.

On February 14, 2012 the City of Boerne sold the the Dienger Building to an oil and gas company from Oklahoma. The 1884 historic building and focal point of Main Street is now private property. You may still see the beautiful exterior and read the historic markers from the side walk. As a historic building it may not be changed... More
