A small charter bus trip to San Antonio booked us into a "chuckwagon dinner" with Pistol Packin Paula as the showcase entertainment after dinner. The ranch has a collection of vintage western buildings, and several videos and movie scenes have been filmed there. It was fun to explore, and also see buffalo (bison) and longhorns. The dinner was not the... More

When out of town grandchildren came to visit on a beautiful spring day in the hill Country of Texas, we decided to take them to the Enchanted Springs Ranch in nearby Boerne. The plan was to see the restored old West town, check out the exotic animals roaming freely, and maybe get some BBQ at the onsite Crazy Cow restaurant.... More

This is a pretty neat place. Very realistic old west town and the people there are great. It's open for free on weekends, but sometimes they close early for private events so call ahead. It's becoming more of an event venue than an attraction, but that's where they make the money. I would still recommend this for family fun. Check... More

Love this place! Free entrance. Very nice realistic Old West town. My European wife can not stop talking about how great it is! Highly recommend the $2/person covered wagon ride through the ranch. Saw Buffalo, Deer, Zebra and Texas Longhorn cattle. They also have Chuck Wagon Dinners with a show on specific weekends we are definitely going back for. Highly... More

I was there with a tour group of about 150 people, so they were expecting us. My best experience was getting a photo with the longhorn steer, "Woodrow". He let me hold onto a horn for the picture. I would suggest calling first, so you can be sure things will be up and running for you. We got there about... More

The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The food and entertainment are great. The ranch works off a Christian theme and is very family friendly. Saying this, they cater to and welcome all nationalities and religious preferences. The downside is trying to find the ranch-it's out a bit, but worth the drive. We were there for the Christmas extravaganza that... More

It was 75 degrees in February here in TX and we were looking for something to do outdoors. We loaded up the kids and took the hour drive from New Braunfels. My daughter loves longhorns and was looking forward to seeing the other animals. We arrived about 3:15 to find out they had just done the last wagon ride. When... More

Tucked away in the foothills near Boerne, Texas is the famous Enchanted Springs Ranch. From the time that you first arrive, you are taken back into memories of growing up watching westerns on television as a kid. The old town is constructed just like you would picture it. In fact, the settings in the town have been used in different... More

I highly recommend this attraction for anyone who would love to get a feel for what an old West town was really like. There are many streets with a jail, a saloon, a church, a 2 bedroom house, and many more. Everything looks quite authentic. There are live animals. You can take a picture with Woodrow, the longhorn. An unexpected... More

Great Texas Barbq lunch & entertainment inside before our ranch tour. The tour was in an open wagon with overhead tarp & views of a number of exotic animals. If you are not use to the Texas heat I recommend you visit before June or after August. Either way be sure to stay hydrated & wear a cap. Naturally there... More
