Everyone must see this place. It is great. Townsend is so peaceful any, that we love staying here. The cave is amazing. Yes, there are lots of steps so make sure you can handle it, but it is worth the trip. You won't be disappointed.

We visited the Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend, TN this past weekend and it was amazing. Very beautiful and glad we did it! Our guide, Spencer was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this attraction!

Beautiful cave, however I would not bring children under 10 here, elderly or people with health issues. The place is every out dated when it comes to safety, and the lighting. If it rains, there's only one way in and out. Very slippery, and there's a huge drop off with no rail. It's beautiful but I personally would not recommend... More

I knew nothing about the Tuckileechee Caverns because their website is pretty limited. We took a chance on a visit and were pleasantly surprised. The price was well worth the almost hour and a half guided tour. The caverns are huge and contain a number of interesting formations and even a waterfall. Our young guide was terrific. The only downside... More

It was a very interesting walk. so many cool things to see. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. round trip is a mile and a half so bring comfortable shoes, but well worth your time if you're up for it

Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great place to visit. The cost is reasonable and the tour of the caverns is about 1.5 hours. It is well lighted and has a paved path. Waterfall and creek in the caverns is interesting.

There is NOTHING on the website for Tuckaleechee Caverns that says they are closed. I assume they are closed for the winter. But it didnt say that on their website. Just that they were open daily. I called and the voicemail doesnt say anything about them being closed for the season. So, we checked the times and planned this for... More

Great place to spend an hour or so, especially if the weather is bad and you're in the mood to do something. It's fairly inexpensive and the "good ol' boys" guides are pretty funny. Although you have a guide, we took our time and looked at what we wanted to see, and it was fine. They didn't have actual food... More

This is not a review of the attraction itself, unfortunately. Several days ago we drove from Sevierville believing that this place would be open. The reason that we thought it was open is because all that their social media and web presence says is "open 7 days a week". They have no voicemail greeting that says otherwise, nor does their...
