Though it has been some time since I was last in the caverns, it has always been an almost magical experience to see the beauty and the vast size of the caverns. The stop and imagine all the weight of the ground above you is an experience in itself.

We went here after hiking in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cave was beautiful. The guide did a great job giving it's history. We were table to drink the water at the end, as it was muddy from heavy rains.

We went to your the caverns after a day of tubing the river. Your guide was informative and funny! The waterfall in the cavern was spectacular and they really let you drink from the 99% pure spring water! Really cool. Ive never taken so many beautiful pics of a cavern before! So glad we stopped, it's worth the drive and... More

This is a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Granted, this is a moderate to strenuous trek - many stairs, low clearance in some areas, low rails, low light, damp, and kept as natural as possible. You are required to stay with the tour group, and the tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. It's worth every step. There are amazing formations,... More

Wow! What beautiful caverns, from the moment you walk in the guides and staff are so friendly. Josh guided are group, he was kind, knowledgable and funny. The views were spectacular. This is one of the natural wonders still left in the area! Skip the arcade and take the kids to something unforgettable. Our group consisted of kids ages 9,... More

Was delighted at these caverns. Much larger than expected and a nice way to spend a HOT summer day. Tour guide was funny and knowledgable. Price was reasonable.

I've been visiting caverns in the Southeast all my life, but had somehow missed this one. What a nice little surprise. The story behind the discovery of this cavern and the family who owns it is my favorite part, but I'll leave that to the tour guides. The cave is a pleasantly cool 58d, I felt fine wearing jeans and... More

Definitely worth a visit! The underground caverns are beyond description. They are vast and spacious and go on for miles. The entire tour is well lit and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. The story of how it was discovered and developed is fascinating. We had three generations of family with us from ages 8 to 70, and it... More

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Spencer, did a great job of telling us the history of how the caverns were discovered as well as pointing out interesting features for us to see with his flashlight while on the tour. The caverns were cool, but not freezing cold like other caves we have visited. Our kids (age 9 and... More

Driving up you would never imagine what you are going to see once you head underground, it is amazing what you will see. From the moment you enter and see the amount of physical work it took just to haul the cement one sack at a time to build all of the steps until you reach the bottom it is... More
