I have only ever visited one other cave besides this, and compared to that, this place was huge! One of the exciting things about this place to me, was really just how massive it was, it was very impressive! There were a lot of cool formations all over the place, and the river and waterfall inside were also quite neat.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. We stayed in Pigeon Forge & the drive to this cavern was so easy to get to. If your looking to kill time this is a great thing to do. The tour guide asked us (what I thought was 20 minutes into the caves) "how long do u think we have been... More

Privately owned, it seemed a little "less manicured" than other caverns we've toured. The bathrooms are kind of primitive so just be prepared. The pathways are slick in spots and the lighting is not perfect so wear good soled shoes and watch your step. The real disappointment - and this isn't really the owners fault - was the large size... Josh was our tour guide & he did a great job, knew a lot about the history of the cave. I like to take a lot of photos without flash, which requires a long exposure time, so I always end up being the last one off the tour. He (and my husband) were very patient with my slow butt straggling... More

There are four adults and we camped at Tremont River Resort in Townsend, TN. CLEAN resort on the river! We took the cave tour and the first thing we see is one bat hanging on the ceiling at the entrance to go into the cave. I guess he was lost. Our guide was Corey. He was a young fellow but... More

I have been to a few caverns in the past. This one made special by a young guide named Mark. He is very knowlegable and didn't mind answering questions.

I traveled with my friend to the great smokies mountains and she asked have you ever been to a cavern before....I said no even though I have traveled much of the USA. What an absolutely amazing experience...I am so glad I did. Our tour guide was Josh who was so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the caverns. I had asked Josh... More

I have no desire to go where it is dirty, scary and really dark, but caves for tourists are fun and this is no exception. Our tour guide was delightful and funny. Our group was small (about 15) and it takes more than an hour to do the cave. There are prettier caves around but this tour was fine. The... More

With my expectations set pretty low for this trip I was pleasantly surprised I had a good time. The cavern was larger than expected, the tour guide was well educated and entertaining. Worth the drive from Pigeon Forge for an affordable, educational, family friendly good time.
