My husband and I visited Tuckaleechee Caverns. It was amazing, but really scary when they turned out the lights.

The guides were young but did a great job teaching the history of the caves while making it fun at the same time.

The Tuckaleechee caverns were very nice. The tour was about 1.2 hours long and about 1 mile of walking. Our guide, James, was very knowledgable and personable. Our favorite part of the tour was when we went into the big room and he turned off all the lights and explained how our eyes after 2 weeks in complete darkness would... More

It is off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip! The cavern is much more deep then you would guess from the outside and the tour guides are wonderful!

We really enjoyed this tour - we were 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 15) and it would have been good regardless but our tour guide really made it even better. I can't remember her name but she is a young woman from the area who is a 3rd year geology major - she knows her stuff and was... More

Didn't use flashy colored lights. Many uneven steps----wear good shoes. Guide Lauren was fantastic with explaining to kids but probably people in back of tour didn't hear a thing. Well worth time and money

The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I've been to Ruby Falls cavern. This cavern is very interesting and pretty but used only white lighting. In the other cavern they use different color lighting which make it so much prettier and impacting. The main big part of the cavern is really cool and the tour guide was... More

I have toured many caves in Kentucky and Tennessee. This one is really better than any others I have visited. The guides were great and the cave was spectacular...they have left it totally natural except for walkways and steps (yes....there are a lot of them, the cave is very deep), so you can enjoy the cave, instead of a bunch... We really enjoyed our visit. There are interesting sights. You are best to wear tennis shoes there is a lot of climbing and walking. It is about a mile walk around and about an hour time frame with a lot of stairs!

This was our second time at this cave. Great place. No hype, no thrills, just a very cool place. Our guide Steve came out of retirement to help with the larger crowd and made the tour a great time. One and a half hour tour. Well worth it.
