Need to wear a coat. 58 degrees in the cavern and about an hour and forty minute walk. Do not recommend for those who have a hard time walking. Steep steep. Very interesting history however. I have never been in a cavern so lots of interesting sites and information for me. Worth going.

The caverns were really neat to see. You go through with a tour guide that is knowledgeable about the history of the caverns and the family that found and still owns them. This is worth the entry fee. Highly recommend.

We had a great time going through the caves! Great lighting inside to really get the full effect of just how big they are. The water running through the caves was stunning and the waterfall at the other end was very exciting to see! Loved our guide, he was very knowledgable and funny. Kids really enjoyed it as well! WOW!!! We have been to several caves/caverns during our travels through the years. Hands down, our group agrees...Tuckaleechee Caverns is THE BEST! And the PRICE! What a deal!!! We are used to paying TWICE what we paid at Tuckaleechee for a short 45 minute tour and a much less thrilling experience. Our guide on the 90 minute tour was exceptional,... More

On a rainy day in the Smokies you can't really beat Tuckaleechee caverns. In fact, the rain actually makes the experience even more impressive. We went yesterday after an unsuccessful rained out hiking attempt and we were thrilled we did. 58 degrees year round and dry even on a rainy day, the cave was absolutely beautiful! Hope, our tour guide... More

We discovered Tuckaleechee caverns on tripadvisor and weren't really sure what to expect but we checked it out anyways. This tour was so much more than me and my family expected! Our tour guide Hope was amazing with my three young children (2, 5, and 7 years old) and managed to give really interesting facts about the history and geological... More

I would recommend the Tuckaleechee Caverns to anyone looking for something to do on a hot or rainy day, or any day for that matter. The approximately 90 minute tour of the vast caverns was both interesting and educational. Our guide Paul was very informative & did a great job of entertaining the small boy who was in our group... Nice caverns. They have a river running through them that lends a unique aspect to them. Decent price considering it's about a 1 1/2 hour tour. Only critique - couldn't really hear the guide at all. We were at the back of the tour and pretty much missed the majority of what he said.

This is a beautiful and easily accessible cavern. The visitor center isn't great but the people are nice, the guide was very knowledgable and the caverns were beautiful. A very interesting way to spend an hour and a half. I'd definitely recommend it.

I found these caverns in a brochure on the day we were leaving PF and decided to take a ride to see them. If you get the chance these are a must see! It is so beautiful! Our tour guide was great and the views were just amazing.
