This was our first time riding horses and we could not pick a better place to have our first ride. Everyone on the staff was friendly, informative, addressed concerns, and made our ride very enjoyable. They picked the horses that best suited us. Our guide Curtis was terrific and offered to take pictures of us. The horses are well taken... More

We spent the day in Townsend and had never been horse back riding in the area so we gave it a shot and I am very glad we did. If you're in the area, please stop by and visit this place you won't be disappointed

Our guide was Johnathan and he was awesome! If you are experienced he is a must for guides. He's a knowledgeable horsemen and takes into consideration your riding experience. He complimented my 11 year olds riding equitation and she just loved it. We were never bored. We have riden at Waldens Creek, Ponderosa Dude Ranch and this blew them away.... More

My husband and I rode the Cades Cove loop to see could we spot any bears and decided to come here for a horse back ride. We paid $60 plus tax for 2. Our guide was Johnathan who did a great Job leading us. If we are back in Cade Cove we will most definitely be back.

First off you need to get there early. That's for the scenic view of cades cove also. Remember folks the early bird gets the worm!!! My boyfriend and I got here around 9:15 a.m. and waited like five minutes. I can not remember our tour guides name but he was a younger guy and very nice! This has been one... More

The ride was supposed to last approximately 30 minutes, and even with the driver stopping the carriage twice, it only lasted approximately 20 minutes. It was $12.50 a person which was a little steep for 20 minutes. The driver seemed to be well informed about the area. It took longer to get to the stables than what the carriage ride... More

For our anniversary, my husband and I decided that we would spend the day in Cades Cove and ride horses. I have ridden before but he hadn't. It was such a wonderful experience, even with light rain. Curtis was our guide and he made the ride so enjoyable. He is so knowledgeable about the park and horses. It almost seemed... More

The carriage ride is a good way to enjoy the woods and learn a lot about the park. The driver will stop several times to show and explain interesting facts about the park. Our driver was interesting and informative.

We had a great experience with this stable. Healthy horses and beautiful scenery. Our guide, Johnathon, was great with our son. He's still telling me "johnathon" stories.
