Loved riding horses in Cades Cove. Always see lots of wildlife. My children toward the front saw a bear as he past over a ridge. We came really close to a bear a few years ago. The set up to get on the horses is great. The scenary is beautiful. Well worth it.

We had a great time buyt were a little disappointed that our five year old was too young to ride...they are "trail hourses" but he and my husband went on a carraige ride instead. The scenery was beautiful and my daughter age 8 had a great time...We will be back in a few years when we can all ride!

I have ridden before but my eleven year old daughter never has. The staff was kind and patient and the horses were very patient. At $30 per person for an hour, it was worth every penny! They recommend wearing jeans but they are not needed and just too hot in summer. Young woman at desk was extremely nice and calmed... More

Let me start by saying...we drove to Cade's cove riding stables twice for a hey ride, the first time we got rained out so our tour got cancelled (we were glad because safety should always be #1 priority). Me my husband and my boys returned and when we got there the lady at the desk told us there was no... More

First few minutes out we saw a Black Bear. The horses were all easy going and well cared for. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Riding in the Great Smoky Mountain was like no other ride I have ever taking. Only wish we would have booked the longer ride. I never wanted it to end. The prices are very... More

My family and I went horseback riding at Cade's Cove. Everyone loved the experience! It was one of the best things we did while we were on vacation. During the trail ride we saw three black bear cubs playing near their mother, many wildflowers, and lots of trees. The guide was excellent - he told us lots of interesting facts... More

This riding trail is in the park, this is a mostly flat ride , no mountains or steep hills, well suited for beginner and children. Horses were pretty good except one Malaki he was a brat but that is what happens when you name a horse after the bad kid from "Children of the Corn" My son had him and... More

This was the best place I've every gone horseback riding!!! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide was great and made sure the whole time we were all comfortable. We quickly learned how to steer the horses, manual only. No automatic drive. The trail itself is so nice because it's through the Cades Cove woods. There is not... More

We had booked and paid for a hayride months before our visit. We arrived 30 minutes early just as they asked. When we booked the hayride we booked it for 10 am which we thought was the first hay ride of the day. They actually started at 8am so by the time the 8 am hayride arrived back to the... More
