Carriage ride for my granddaughter

My granddaughter wanted to ride a carriage like a princess. My first thought was the cades cove riding stables. We had a lovely ride although it went too fast.

We had an amazing time riding behind Leon and Sunny! It was my 6year old nephew, myself and my husband, my parents, and three other guests. My mom and I were the only regular basis horse owners/riders but everyone else was new and the guide was great with everyone! We went in the early morning (get there early to get... More

In the middle of the ride, my saddle came loose and fell to the side of the horse so of course I fell off. The guide (Briar) came to help. He put the saddle back on and it fell off AGAIN. I tried to be a good sport the first but not the second. Also, a horsefly bit my horse... More

My mother and I visited Cades Cove and on a wild hair decided to ride horses. We got there early in the morning, and we were the second group to go out. The wait wasn't very long, but it might be longer later in the day, or on peak weekends. The ride itself lasted about an hour or hour and... More

The ride was a nice peaceful ride through the woods. The horses were well trained and you basically had to do nothing to control them. We were there 15 min before they opened on a Sat morning and had no wait. The only thing I would like to see different is its hard to hear the guide when you are... More

We took our family there yesterday, kids aged in range 6,9,13,15. They had a blast. Its all they keep talking about over everything else we have done on our vacation. Our guide Ed was very good and put up with our very talkative 6 year old and answered his every question ( and here were many) The horses were well... More

We have been to the Smokies before so wanted to do something different. We picked horseback riding near cades cove. The guides were fun and made sure everything was ok. The horses were very good and beautiful. The trail made you feel like you were lost in the woods. You got to go through creeks, up hills, down hills and... More

We took a trail ride and our guide was great! He was very knowledgeable, pointed out things of interest to us and treated us like old friends. Absolutely beautiful scenery!

We paid alot of money for a 20 minute ride that was supposed to be a 30 to 45 minute ride. The guide had one piece of info to share with us about the area. My 3 year old said is that all!!! Definitely not worth the money.
