stunning views

The views are spectacular along this route and no crowds of people. We only saw a few cars the whole way through. Definitely a ride to take while in the Smokys!

There isn't much to see other than great scenery on this road, but that is enough for me. It is fairly curvy, but there are plenty of spots to pull off, but not a lot of exhibits. It is a real shame that our government has not finished this road, but the section that is open is fun, and there... More

What an amazing drive with amazing views and things to see. Just don't be the driver, ha ha...... Since you really have to pay attention --- take turns driving. Easy enough to swap on and off at stops.

We do this ride all the time. It is between route 321 and 129 (The Dragon). Very easy to ride. Great views.

Scenery was above and beyond spectacular but winding roads makes it a little hard and tough. loved the beauty of it

Great drive with many pull-overs to enjoy the view! We took this drive once to the end and back, but the second time, we made a complete circle going all the way to Walmart in Maryville and then back down to Walland.

I've traveled the parkway a couple times, between rt 129 & rt 321. It's got gorgeous views, & it's never been that crowded, at least, not when I went. My only complaint would be, no restrooms. I haven't hiked any trails off the parkway yet, but I'll write another review when I have.

After spending the morning in Cades Cove and stuck in traffic on the loop The Foothills Parkway was a nice change. Great views of the Smokies. Very little traffic and I could cruise at 35 mph (45 mph Speed Limit) without holding anyone up.

It was a beautiful drive! Loved all they stops offs to look at the views! I will say if you are staying in townsend or somewhere around there you won't need to drive all the way down the foothill path. There is loon out point and that's the farthest you need to go. I'd turn around after that because if... More
