swinging bridges are not for me

The most I do at the swinging bridge is stay on solid ground and watch the kids run across or climb out after floating the river.

This bridge covers over the river where people float on tubes. There is no admission to walk across. A fun stop had by all. Good spot to take some pictures.

A fun place to visit and see how this bridge serves the community. This bridge is very close to hotels so that it is a nice walk.

Cute little bridge to stop at and let the kids stretch their legs and check out little river. It's tucked back on a side street not the main highway in and out of Townsend. I wouldn't make a special trip but if you are driving through our staying in Townsend it's a fun free little stop for the family to... More

We just stopped here for a minute so the kids could walk on the bridge and watch the tubes floating down the river. The bridge is in good repair and made for some fun pictures.

This is just off the highway, and a quick spot to sightsee. The bridge looked well maintained and my husband and I enjoyed walking across. It is quite scenic at the bridge, and just a nice quick little stop.

We took the kids out for the evening in Townsend just looking for little fun things to see and discover. This was a favorite! They loved running across it and seeing the water below. The easiest way to get to it is to park in the realty office parking lot and cross the road. It IS a busy road, so... More

Kids liked it. We were going to the caverns & read the review on Tripadvisor so decided to stop by & take a walk on the bridge. Kids loved swinging it & seeing the tubers floating by below.

Stopped here with the kids - they thought it was great. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you are in the area and want a quick diversion its fun.

It's just a cute little bridge that time has not touched. It makes a tranquil spot in a cute little neighborhood.
