We had a blast... First time for my ten year old on a trail ride. He had a blast. Horses were gentle and fun to ride. Well trained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place is awesome. I cannot for the life of me see why people complained about this place. The staff was very friendly and very obliging. There are a few things large people should not do this may be one of them. I would say if you cannot get on anything by yourself you do not need to be doing... More

8 family members took a slow, hilly, scenic tour. It is a great, safe ride with family. Especially if you aren't looking to trot fast.

My husband and I wanted to see the Smoky Mountains from the top of a horse while in Gatlinburg. We drove about 45 min out of town to get away from all the buildings and get closer to nature. We got to the stables early and had a chance to talk with owners and trail guides. Everyone was friendly and... More

Brought my son and niece both teenagers on the 2 hour ride today. It was amazing I have been to several other stables in the area and by far this one was the best in everything, guide, trail and horses.

Having 3 family members who never rode before, they had a great time. Horses very gentle and smooth riding. Trail was off road and in the forest! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to talk to and horses knew what to do. Had a great time and will be back again. Would recommend them to everyone!

Parents and 6 and 9 year old children had a great time. The staff appeared to know their horses well and chose good horses for all of us. Our 6 year old is begging to go again! Recommend making reservations.

My family of 5, which includes three children under eleven rode at Davy Crockett Stables. We had such a fantastic time!! My children had never ridden horses before (except on the ponies attached to circular route device at the fair.) Now they have and their first REAL riding experience was so wonderful!!! Our guide, Tera, was so great with the... More

My granddaughter and I enjoyed an hour ride with Kelly as our guide. The horses were well trained, Kelly was informative and helpful, and the trail was indeed In the mountains. A big thank you to Kelly and the staff for making a good experience GREAT. They were helpful and kind.

What a great experience and well worth the price. The horses were gentle and well cared for. We drove up and got right on. They had larger horses for heavier people. Would definitely go back!
