The best, best, most laid back place around. Me, my mom, stepdad, boyfriend and brother went horseback riding. It was very nice to be able to go riding WITHOUT having a ROBOT guide, strick rules and instructions longer than the ride. We had went zip lining at another place the day before and there was soooooo many rules. This place... More

The horse riding is unaccompanied, but the horses know the way to the top of the mountain and back again. The zip-lining was well supervised and, because there was no question of having a hand on the zip-line, there were no delays while we waited for staff to rescue people who had slowed themselves down so much that they did... My daughters and I were planning a trip to Gatlinburg and knew we wanted to go horseback riding. We thought it would be awesome to go on an unguided ride, but never thought that would be possible. Then we found Next to Heaven. We couldn't believe it! The staff were very friendly and matched us up with horses according to... More

Had a great time zip lining, Dave and Travis were awesome. Would definitely recommend . A little scary at first, but after the first of 3 zip lines it was very fun. The view of the Mountains was incredible.

We stayed this past week, and had a great time, no internet, so we connected as a family instead! (awesome) We had a great time, the accommodations are pretty great the rooms were big and clean. It was fairly private, hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day of shopping in Gatlinburg.. I would defiantly recommend this to... More

We were excited about an unguided horseback ride. Horses were well behaved; but trail was constantly up and down, which made the horses a bit anxious. We stopped several times for photos, and we're back at stables in 45 min. Not quite the hour ride. A couple of places to stop and look at smokys, but not all that great... More

We did the Horseback Ride and Zipline Combo. This was the highlight of our week. We had a 3 year old, 4 year old and 8 year old and they had so much fun. The staff was so great! Wonderful experience and so many memories were made!

About the nicest setup I've seen for trail rides. The horses are healthy and well-mannered. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The owners are apparently religious and you will get a brief sermon via Burma Shave signs along the trail, so if that bothers you, you may want to try another stable. Otherwise, enjoy the fantastic views along a very... More

We had 10 family members who enjoyed the 3 zip lines and horseback riding. The owner was friendly and funny. We all had a great time and will do it again. I highly recommend Next to Heaven Adventure!

I was worried I would have a hard time finding somewhere I could take my 3 year old along on a trail ride. I have extensive horse experience, a 10 year that has taken a few lessons, the 3 year old who has only been on pony rides, and a husband that has never ridden as an adult. We all... More
