The real draw here has nothing to do specifically with Cowboy Tubing - enjoying nature floating down the river, a stretch punctuated by Class 2 rapids, makes for a great day regardless of whose tube you're on. That said, the folks at Cowboy were extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and offered their service at good value. As far as "paid attractions",... More

Rented tubes from this business directly from Townsend KOA. Started our trip right from the campground and were picked up and shuttled from there location. Very convenient and good service.

The staff was friendly and informative. They allowed us to go as many times as we wanted all day for 1 price!

I picked up tubes from the KOA and floated down river several times with two children. You can pay at the KOA office and get life jackets there. When purchasing through KOA, you can use your VKR discount and have the option of being shuttled back to KOA or to the normal spot upriver. Even from the normal tubing drop-off... More

We heard about tubing and decided this was the place to go after reading the reviews. Very friendly staff and would recommend going here for anyone that wants to try tubing

The service was excellent!! The owners were very caring and safety conscious. They were not all about making money, but making sure me and my family were safe. I really liked that they allowed me and my kids to just play in the water behind the building when the kids got scared of the rapids and we called it quits.... More

We really enjoyed our day Sunday 08/31/13 riding the Little River. The staff was very attentive each time we arrived back for the shuttle. Shuttles were comfortable and well maintained. The water was cold but it felt good after the first few minutes. A great family value!! We will go back to cowboy next time. The river had a few... More

This is great affordable family fun in the Pigeon Forge area. The prices are cheap for what you get-- $9 a tube with unlimited shuttles. We had a great time on the river. It can get rough in the rapids, but that is what makes it fun. Don't let the river intimidate you--the tube will just bounce off the rocks... More

Very professional, owed by the folks who have Cades Cove Stables across the street. Great price, we used a coupon and paid $8 to tube all day. We rode horses across the street in the morning, then tubed, then drive the Cade's Cove loop as it is all in the same area. The only caution is for the first set... More

The tubing industry in Townsend seems to be a bit cut throat, and if you've read many of the other reviews, you can definitely tell what customers are looking for. They want good treatment, an excellent price, and a safe trip. Cowboy Tubing does all that and more. Their storefront lacks the glitzy tourism gimmicks of the competitors., but that's... More
