We had a choice to ride the upper or lower Pigeon river on this tube trip. We were told that ages 5 and up could ride the upper, although it had rapids. Never having done anything like this before, we all chose the upper river, including my 6 year old. Well, it was definitely fun, but way too hard for... More

First off, the vans should not pass inspection. The first one had a broken window with a plastic bag over it and the second one had a hole in the floor I almost fell thru. The drop off point is at a small rapids and we had no idea how to get in safely and no instruction. We had no... More

The river is very rocky~ if you have tender feet, please buy water shoes! You will need them. Kids 12 and under are required to wear a life vest. They pack you in a van and drive you up the river to drop you off. The place to get off is well marked on the river bank. Reasonable price for... More

My family had been wanting to go rafting while we were visiting the mountains. I had already given up on the rafting after calling around and getting prices of over $40 per person or more. Tubing was alot of fun for a lot less money. Everyone at river rage was very helpful and gave us great advice. The best thing... More

This is not an easy ride! When I spoke with River Rage on the phone, I was advised it was like a "lazy river". Our 3 year old grandson would just sit on someone's lap...Well, 30 seconds into the ride, our daughter in law got out with the 3 year old... There were 6 of us left - including a... More

This really is a great way to spend the day with the whole family for very little money. They give you all day pass for only 9 dollars. You can go on any of the three different routes or do all of them and its still just 9 bucks. You only have to park at the main place and they... More

I visited River Rage tubing in July 2013 on a visit to the Smoky Mountains. We were given an inner tube and a short ride to the point of the Little River where we'd start our course. The bus driver was curt and not very friendly. We started out on our course and I found some of the rapids to... More

At the main checkin place the women's bathroom was DISGUSTING!! It was only a two stall and one was so plugged up with that it was about to overflow and the flies were horrible! The only working toliet looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the day the place opened. Someone had gotten sick and it was all over the... More

I had tubed as a child and knew of the sharp rocks and the fast water current. I agree with other reviews that some help from staff would be nice. Especially getting into the water and with the instruction for basic tubing safety. This was not available. I would wear blue jeans and shirt over swim suit and water shoes... More

Worst attraction /experience in my life. I am so sorry I didn't read the reviews before allowing my family to go on this awful attraction. Please please read the reviews. My dd lost two pair of glasses (sunglasses and regular prescription), hit her head on a big rock when she was flipped by a rock, she also injured her arm... More
