Our family was staying in Gatlinburg and were excited to tube with River Rat. Prior to leaving yesterday, we called and were assured via the voicemail message that River Rat was open for the season and that they opened daily from 10am. Our family drove the hour from Gatlinburg to find that the River Rat storefront was locked and no... More

river rat is very friendly and curteous.....enjoyed the trip....they informed us prior to purchasing our tickets that the river was low and it might rain.....I laughed we were going to tube down the river and if it rained that meant we might get wet.....hahaha. there tubes are bigger than the others I seen in the river......would definately use them again

After enjoying a week around Gatlinburg and in the Smokies, we enjoyed a nice leisurely trip down the Little River. It was nice and relaxing. The facilities were nice and clean and the staff was great. We asked for a place to eat nearby and they suggested the Campfire Grill which had some great food at a very reasonable price.

After checking out reviews on TripAdvisor, we chose River Rat. Everything was SO easy. Changing rooms were very spacious and immaculate. I noticed that their already-sturdy tubes have an added layer of rubber material welded to the bottom, the same kind of material that they put on the bottom of white water rafts. The owners were friendly; they even offered... More

Love this...just fun with the family all day. You can pack your own lunch and eat it there or buy something at the snack shack and ride the river over and over.

I think we picked the best day to go floating down the river. There were only a few other people since the summer season has come to a close and school has returned. The river was still at average water levels & it was a nice warm day. This was a great experience that anyone would feel comfortable doing. The... More
