My girlfriend and I recently took a trip to the Gatlinburg area and ended up getting snowed in for a couple of days. Most of the town had been shuttered, but we wanted to make the best of it. We started looking for fun things to do. We found more than we could have hoped for in our visit with... More

Our family went to visit on a Saturday afternoon; we were not sure what to expect but the reviews were all so good we were not worried. We have 3 elementary age children so we weren't ready to do a big hike yet, and one of our children is special needs, so we planned to simply introduce them to some... More

Fun hike with your llama and then time to visit the farm and feed/pet all the llamas and Peanut Butter, the little alpaca. Very informative and enjoyable morning. Will definitely go back again.

This is a must do activity when visiting East Tennessee. We really enjoyed hiking with our llamas and gained a great appreciation for these beautiful animals. Our guide was very informative about llama information and we thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday morning trek. Would like to do the longer version next time.

We went on the llama trek at the Cosby, TN location and have nothing but good things to say about it. Our family has 4 children (elementary and middle school ages) and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hike is serene and has lovely views of the mountains. Steve, the guide, is an amazing host. We learned a lot... More

What a great day in the mountains!! Found out about the llama trek through Trip Advisor and I'm so glad we did! It was a ways there from Sevierville (about an hour for us) but the drive was nice. Map quest took us there fine.... Though we laughed all the way because the roads turned to gravel. You may think... More

I used to own llamas when I lived in Northern California. I moved to Atlanta and sadly, could not bring them. I googled "llamas in the Southeast" and this site came up. My friend and I booked the Max Patch trek. I was not disappointed ...it was perfect. Steve has many entertaining stories and shares llama facts along the way.... More

We took our trek on a gorgeous fall day in October. Our human guide Steve was so friendly and informative and my llama partner Taylee was fabulous! He even nuzzled my neck and shared a graham cracker with me! The trip out to the llama farm is a beautiful drive through east Tennessee, about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. This is... More

My wife and I drove an hour and a half to do the hour hike. It was well worth the trip. We enjoyed feeding the llamas before the hike (bring graham crackers, others brought bananas and the llamas weren't interested) and brushing them. The hike was short but nice. There are steep parts on the hike and there were spots... More

I gave my granddaughter this adventure as a present for her 16th birthday, we had a large group that ranged in age from 55 to 5 years old. The guide was great to work with. Everyone had a great time. Even those that started out being afraid of the llamas, were sad when the trip was over and they had... More

Connie, it's Steve and I'm glad that your family enjoyed their hike with the llamas. It was a pleasure to celebrate your granddaughter's birthday here at the farm with the llamas. We find that most people that are apprehensive of the llamas at the start usually warm up to them by the time they leave the farm. Thanks from Steve... More
