It was a amazing experience to hike with the llamas. Steve was the guide and owner of Smokey mountain llama treks. He has interesting stories to shareand answered all my questions. The llamas are so adorable and and well behaved. They don't spit and they don't smell. It was a very enjoyable experience. Can't wait to go again.

My son and I hiked with Peanut the Alpaca and the llama Abu yesterday. It was a fabulous trek...the weather was perfect, the view of the Great Smoky Mountains was awesome and Steve and Zach our guides were entertaining and informative. I highly recommend bringing your family to Smoky Mountain Llama Treks and meet some llama friends you will never... More

I want everyone to have the same wonderful experience I had! Steve is a great tour guide and such a nice man. The llamas (and peanut butter, the alpaca) are amazing and so sweet. They are the best hiking buddies! They don't stink or spit! They're so fun to be around! I wish the best for Steve and his llamas.... More

My daughter and I went on the Padgett Mill Hike. Amazing views. It was a little steep at first but well worth it. The llamas were really gentle. Our Guide was a really nice young man. Very polite and friendly and answered all of my questions. We could see so many of the mountain tops because all the leaves were... More

We drove up 3 hours for a day trip just for this llama trek and couldn't have been happier about it! Definitely worth it. This was a great way to see the mountains and the fall leaves in a unique way. I definitely will return and bring more friends!

We went on a 5 mile hike with the llamas. Both of the llamas were really well-behaved, adorable, and soft! (We had BlackJack and White Lightning). Even though we went as a group, everyone gets autonomy over walking one's own llama, so it does not feel cramped. The trail itself was great with amazing views. Steve and his son made... More

This was my birthday present and was our first trek with Steve as the new owner and we enjoyed every minute of our 5 mile Buckeye Ridge/Max Patch hike! Steve is top-notch and you can feel how much he loves the llamas... and people! The fall colors were breathtaking and we can;t wait to come back for another hike in... More

My 3 kids and I booked the Buckeye Ridge (Max Patch) trail for my birthday, and I have to say it was one of the best birthdays I have ever had! My sulky 15 year old smiled the whole time (I even got a picture of it), and my 11 and 8 year olds were equally thrilled. The llamas were... More

My husband and daughter set this up for our Anniversary. We had a really good time....J.J. The llama, and Peanut the alpaca were wonderful trail companions. Steve was very knowledgable and personable. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a different experience. Thanks Steve for a great time (and for allowing us to meet the rest of the llamas).
