We had a fun trip with BlackJack, Peanut Butter and of course the host Steve. The llamas and alpaca where very cool and very loving. This was a unique fun adventure. Will go on a longer trek next time.

We found Smoky Mt Llamas on the internet and booked the Creek Hollow hike. It is the 2-hr hike located at the Fox Fire Zip lines facility. Fox Fire is located maybe 20-25 mins from Pidgeon Forge. Fox Fire was absolutely beautiful...clean and everything was well maintained. Our hiking party included my wife, 7 yr old daughter, and me. Upon... More

Took my 9 yr old granddaughter for a farm visit and llama trek with Steve at his home base near Cosby TN. This is NOT the Sevierville location. It is difficult to find but worth the effort. Steve and his llamas obviously have a connection and the llamas understand what is expected of them, Steve is very gentle with the... More

We took our adult children on this Tennessee excursion in the middle of the smokies and the only complaint is that the roads are truly backhills... twistyand full of narrow turns but breathtaking views! Steve is a wonderfully down to earth host who was very kind and full of awesome stories! His farm is very simple, but beautiful llamas are... More

★★★★★ We had the best time hiking through the Smoky Mountains with llamas Taylee, JJ Bird, general Jackson, Black Jack, White Lightning, Rocky, and Peanut Butter the alpaca. Steve and Briggs the dog are awesome guides! Steve is an experienced outdoorsman and very knowledgable about nature and the history of the trails. Our picnic lunch at the waterfall was perfect.... We hiked the Padgett Mill hike with my three kids (14, 10, and 8). The first part of the hike is up hill, but the people, as well as, the llamas take frequent enough breaks to make the uphill climb manageable for the younger ones and the out of shape ones on the hike. Steve and the llamas were fun... More

This tour is a must. Great activity for couples and or families. Steve is an excellent guide. He was friendly, and patient with our very excited and talkative granddaughter. He made her feel like she was "queen for the day". He even held her hand while we hiked a steep portion of our trek. His llamas are well trained and... More

My kids (ages 12 and 14) and I did the Padgett Mill hike and farm visit. Steve was entertaining and told us many informative stories about the llamas and life in the mountains. My kids adored the llamas; each person gets to pick a llama for the hike, and the animals are sweet, intelligent, and friendly. No spitting! Bring many... More

We had a blast! Our son was a bit apprehensive of the llamas, but he did well and liked sticking to the llama he started with (Rocky) on our five hour hike which included a picnic lunch (we brought the lunch along and the llamas carried it). Our daughter fell in love with Peanut Butter, the alpaca she led on... More

This is a must do when you go to the Smoky mountains. My husband and I took the Padgett Mill hike with Steve and the gang. The first part of your visit is spent at the farm learning all about llamas and their care. It is very informational and quite enjoyable interacting with these beautiful animals. You cannot help but... More
