This is a must do when you go to the Smoky mountains. My husband and I took the Padgett Mill hike with Steve and the gang. The first part of your visit is spent at the farm learning all about llamas and their care. It is very informational and quite enjoyable interacting with these beautiful animals. You cannot help but... More

My husband and I, along with our 15, 12, and 3 year old enjoyed this so much. Out of all the things we did on our vacation, this was one thing we all enjoyed the most. Steve was awesome as a guide and even brought the little alpaca for my 3 year old. My son loved taking it for a... More

My boyfriend and I hiked with these cuties and had so much fun! We drove 90 minutes from Asheville, and it was well worth the drive! We hiked as part of a group with another family, and I think all of us had a great time together. All the llamas were perfect gentlemen, very pettable and huggable, and so cute... More

We walked the North Ridge Trail on Bluff Mountain in Sevierville. Carefully follow the instructions provided by Smoky Mountain Llamas. Bluff Mountain Road is narrow with steep drop-offs. We arrived early and drove past the meeting place. Stay of Bluff Mountain Road. If you come to a cross road you have gone too far. The North Ridge Trail is paved... More

My husband and I drove from Asheville to take the one-hour trek and farm tour - the drive was about 90 minutes and well worth it. Be sure to use the directions provided when you make your trek reservation - they will help once you get off the highway in Tennessee. Steve was such a gracious host and shared fascinating... More

We took the 3 hour 3 mile Llama trek with Steve and his son, Zack. I was wonderful. My wife and I are seniors and cannot say enough about the consideration of Steve and Zack. We had fun and our pictures turned out great. I heard numerous rumors about llamas before we sent such as spitting, but all three of... More

It was cool. We didn't properly make a reservation to just let the llamas and they were very understanding about it. We still got to pet the llamas. The owners were also very very nice. I was so happy.

It was a amazing experience to hike with the llamas. Steve was the guide and owner of Smokey mountain llama treks. He has interesting stories to shareand answered all my questions. The llamas are so adorable and and well behaved. They don't spit and they don't smell. It was a very enjoyable experience. Can't wait to go again.
