Lack of concern for their animals' welfare and for the law in regards to gender discrimination. There was no hay, pasture, or shelter for the horses exposed to the frigid weather. I do not recommend them.

had not been horse back riding in a long time - it was okay, but wish we could find a place where the horses just didn't walk along like you didn't even need to guide them - don't know if there is a place like that in the mountains???

We went to zip line & horseback ride with my 14, 6, and 4 year old kids. This was the only place that would allow the 4 & 6 year olds to participate (with a parent). The trails were very wet & muddy when we arrived so they weren't allowing people to ride double, which meant no-go for my 4... More

This was our first official family horse back ride and it was fun, we were match up with the right horse and our guides were great. My girls are looking forward to another ride in the future......

We didn't enjoy our ride. The trails were real muddy I guess they never dried from the rains the week before. I didn't feel safe on these trails. The tour guide kept flirting with me and wanting to know where my husband was. It was just me and my daughter so I felt real uneasy. He kept staring at me... More

I had not been on a horse in 27 yrs, my husband and children had never gotten on one at all. We were matched up with perfect horses for our size and off we went. We saw some amazing views just as the sun was starting to set. Our guide Booger was super kind and helpful.. Will definitely do this... More

My daughter wanted to go horseback riding for her eleventh birthday, so we booked with 5 Oaks. We had rode with them before and have always had a good time. This time was no exception. Our guide Kyle was very good with our daughter and the whole family had a great time. She is already wanting to go back.

Our group went on the horse trails at Five Oaks. It was a very good experience. The trails were excellent for our riding skills. The guide Johnny did a great job at keeping all of us up right and moving. The horses were very well behaved and very gentle. Excellent place for anybody who has not ridden before.

We were part of a trail ride and were expertly led by a young lady who helped overcome both my niece's and a fellow rider's fear of animals. Both the kids were terrified but with a little encouragement and guidance they both really enjoyed themselves. Not so much for anybody who's ridden before.
