I love horseback riding, but I felt these guys were really tired in that heat and up those mountains, probably wouldn't horseback ride in the mountains again unless it was fall weather.

All I can say is awesome. Ride is great. Guides are awesome. View is wonderful. Five Oaks is the place to ride whether its your first time or if you are an experienced rider. We have ridden with other outfits in Gatlinburg etc and this one is by far the best ride. Staff are courteous and helpful. We used this... More

We took our group of 4 teenagers to ride, one of whom is an experienced rider. After the ride, all of our kids were sad for the horses and couldn't enjoy the experience because of this. The conditions for the horses at Five Oaks are inhumane, as the horses appear to be tacked up all day, are kept in stalls... More

Went here the day before our wedding. The guide was informative and the horses well groomed and cared for. I would highly recommend this place to all especially families. You can usually find discount coupons to lower the cost. The view was spectacular and we all had a fun time.

This was the perfect experience for my first time horseback riding. The guides were very professional, the staff provided excellent service, the horses were calm and friendly too. There is a weight restriction, so please ask. Great scenic trails, just a great experience all around. I would definitely go again.

This is my first time horseback riding. I also have 3 children (6, 4, 2.5). They all had a blast!!! My 6 y.o rode by himself and was scared at first. After awhile, he was fine. My daughter and son on the other hand rode with my husband and me so they had so much fun. Our group was pretty... More

The ride was nice and peaceful, and had some very beautiful views. It was our first time on a hose, and we loved it! Our guide was a very nice, and helpful. I liked how the trail was on the mountain. We all loved our horses. Good place for Beginners and families!

I have two girls (7 & 5). This was their first time horseback riding, other than sitting on a pony at a fair. This is one of the few places with tandem riding, so our 5yr old was able to experience. The staff is outstanding! Really really great! There was a young boy, about 8, who started to cry because... More

We enjoyed a lovely trail ride through the woods. Great for those without any riding experience. Very gentle horses that clearly understand what they are supposed to do. Our guide was a lovely young woman who was great with the small boy riding with her. The ride was the perfect length, not too long but not too short either.

My family and I had a great time on this trail. Their horses are so trail broke that you do not need to have a clue how to ride a horse. They will pair everyone with a horse that is appropriate for them. I was very comfortable with my 9 year on her own horse, and my 6 year old... More
