Rainforest Critters

Always fun if you love rainforest animals. It is warm inside and there is a small petting zoo out back. The birds will mock you and it is so fun I could not stop laughing.

All animals well cared for. Many are rescued or were donated. Lots of reptiles and birds, new outdoor area that has goats, sheep, llamas, emus and pigs. Very nice educational material on each animal. Enrichment provided for each animal. My 13 yr old son loved this place and got to feed the Caiman!

My husband and I decided to take the day to go to different zoo's to see animals to feed them and even hold them. This was amazing and awesome, some animals I've never ever seen before.

This is not an interesting zoo. There are mostly snakes and lizards. There are no big animals. Some cages are empty (or look empty).

We had such a great afternoon here. I felt for the size they had a lot of animals and I loved that you could feed the goat and sheep. They have tons of monkeys, reptiles, and amphibians. There is a small smell but that is expected with an indoor zoo. They were not crowded so the walk thru took about... More

Talk about a hands on trip! Add a teacher, I received a discount to bring my family here. We loved looking at the animals, but the start of the trip wad the snake show. Do not sit up front if you are afraid of snakes. Great location. Fun for younger families.

It was great seeing the animals up close. We enjoyed the Prairie dogs and the monkeys the most. The animals seemed happy. Picked up a couple souvenirs in the gift shop.

Wonderful exhibits with a very knowledgeable & friendly staff! Saw some rarer animals that larger zoos don't often have. A fun place to spend some time learning & enjoying some reptiles and critters that you can actually see!! Got a kick out of holding a baby goat in our arms. And in reference to an earlier post that I noticed,... More

This is a very nice attraction. It has many different kinds of animals mostly inside. We got there right at feeding time and watched the monkeys eating corn on the cob - very entertaining! There were a few animals outside including a petting zoo. There was a pink bird (parrot?) who talked to us. The staff were very friendly.

The strong smell of urine is almost unbearable when walking in, the animals were not kept well, some looked very sick....Would definitely not recommend!!!
