Some have described The Rocky Top Playhouse as a “Hee Haw meets Laugh-In” hilarious “great night of fun for the entire family!”. Our main show is improv based, if you have ever seen Whose Line is it Anyway you will love our country version. Come and stump our performers with the most rediculous ideas you can come up with. Also, every Wednesday evening at 8:00pm we have stand-up comedy. This adult only show features this countries best comedians. Finally, every Tuesday at 4:00pm we have an all children's show featuring Mr. Jotz and his children's album Animals. « less

I attended the performance with my retiree mother. The audience ranged in ages from young children to grandparents with a peppering of college students thrown in. The venue is located in a mini strip mall. Thank goodness for our GPS or we would have never found the place. The interior is intimate but reasonable. Seating is in tight movie theatre... More

Fabulous show.. A must see... Each show is different so go more then once. Took my 14 and 17 year old... Both LOVED it... Staff is wonderful... Friendly...appreciative, very accommodating.. GO and see this show and take lots of friends with you... NICE theater also. Seats comfortable a PLUS. More

This was lots of fun! My first time seeing improv in person. I laughed till my sides hurt and it was fun to make suggestions and see them acted out. The owner was a funny in the show and so personable. More

Everyone who appreciates great entertainment NEEDS to see this improv show. The performers are funny and talented. The spectators all have chances to be part of the creativity of the show, but they DO NOT drag people onstage to be embarrassed. It's free-wheeling with structure, sharp, but never insulting, and topical, but never tense (they don't "do" religion or politics)!... More

On our honeymoon the only show we saw was this one, in a very touristy town, we were very pleased to find a genuine, honest performance with very good talent, the crowd was small but they included everyone in the audience and made us all apart of the show! Definitely recommend it and will see it again! More

This was our first improv show, and it was hilarious. The venue isn't super crowded and the cast was really nice and funny. We would defenetly recomend the show, and hope to get to go again. More

This show is so funny, it is clean comedy so you can take the children. My husband & I laughed so hard. It is a audience participation show, so the more you participate and the more off the wall your suggestions are the funnier the show......so go & participate :) More
