Smaller winery. The wines are ok. Staff is very friendly and makes you have an enjoyable time. We went here on the Wine Trail.
We did the Rocky Top Winery Tour.... out of the 5 winerys... this was, by far, our favorite! Edna was a terriffic hostess. She was charmin, very well informed of the wines and answered each and every queston that we threw at her! This is where the wine purchase took place!! If you should go, ask for ~EDNA~!!!
This is a cute little winery with a small but adequate parking lot. There is a nice little gift shop as you walk in. They offer free tours every half hour throughout the day with the last one leaving at 4:30. The tours are not real long but quite informative and there is a question and answer session at the... More
Shelia, the assistant manager, is an absolute lovely person. Very personable, Fun and energetic!! The most fun of all the winery personnel! You need to hear the "Momma story".
I was so unhappy about everything about this winery we walked in and was really excited about this place we waited and waited for help and it was like a bother to them to help us and my husband said this is just crazy. This winery is just bad with how they treat people. Which shocks me they should least... More
My wife and I went to visit this winery yesterday in search of some vino for our cabin. My wife had never done a winery tour, while I have some experience with wineries. We both were very impressed with Kevin's knowledge base and ability to talk about both the wines and the process. His descriptions of the wines and ability... More
HIllside Winery was new since my last visit to Sevierville and located next door to our accommodations. I browsed the lovely gift shop, and the wine tasting was free. I sampled several unique wines and bought three bottles to bring home. It was a delightful part of a vacation afternoon.
Out of the way, sweet little winery. Small parking lot which was ok as it wasn't to busy. Black and blue with the Sangria mix was AMAZING!
We enjoyed the wines - esp the Black and Blue and the red Sangria mix. The labels on the bottles are beautiful. wish we could just buy them or buy coasters with the labels on them! For a day or two of great, inexpensive fun - ask for a passport to all 3 local wineries on the local self directed... More
