This is one of the best times I have ever had in gatlinburg area. They have the best not to mention the only muscadine bubbly wine I have ever seen and tasted. The people who work here are very friendly and knowledgeable anyone wishing to taste wine should definitely go there. You will definitely have a experience of a lifetime

I love this winery, not only for their wine but because they have the best gift shop of all the wineries on the Rocky Top Wine Tour. We make the rounds of all the wineries but this one holds a special place because I can pick up really, really nice gifts for our wine drinking friends. This last time we... More

Recently visited hillside with some girlfriends... We enjoyed the wine and the gentlemen giving the tastings (Kevin and Thomas I believe). While we were at the bar the manager came around and began speaking to someone on staff like a dog. She was completely unprofessional and rude. You should never speak to an employee that way especially in front of... More

Always stop here and get our black and blue, of the whole tour this I think is the best wine. The strawberry champagne is my wife's favorite bubbly to get. People are always friendly and this is a must stop.

This was our fourth time in five years doing the wine trail. We were disappointed that wine prices had substantially went up and now most of the wineries were making you pay for the tasting...:::but not Hillside. Justin took care of us during our visit, he was both knowledgeable and social. The wine prices went up a little but nothing... More

An employee at the resort told me and my partner about the Wine trail. There are 5 wineries and you get 6 free tastings at each. If you go to three wineries you get a free wine glass. If you visit all 5 then you get another free wine glass this one is just stemless. Hillside was my favorite. There... More

I regularly visit this winery when I am in the Sevierville area and always come away with a large quantity of their black and blue wine. It is a delicious sweet and tart blend of blackberry and blueberry wines. They also have a variety of bubbly wines that are also worth checking out. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

WAYYYYY to SWEET! Just fermented fruit juice with some sugar added to it after the fact. The more you know about wine and what wine should taste like the less you will like their wines. They only use plastic and stainless steel tanks, so nothing properly aged in Oak. It is an okay experience but not a REAL winery, just... More
