We stopped in on our way home from our cabin to pick up some fruit for our trip and we got alot of fresh delicious fruit and roasted peanuts for under 10 dollars. Then we smelled the bbq. We couldn't pass it up. Delicious pulled pork with potato salad and amazing tea. Both ladies running the place were friendly and... More

Eating food on nice outside porch by the river made our day complete - we went hiking, and after mountains its always nice to have a bite of local BBQ. Will be back for more.

This has been one of our regular stops for many years when we are on vacation but this year the experience was not what it once was. The selection of fruits and vegetables were very limited and the lady who was working the day we stopped was not very friendly at the outset. She was somewhat rude towards us until... More

My husband and I decided to revisit the Wears Valley Farmers Market this vacation. I had been to a few other produce stands that would NOT sell me just a few peaches. Instead the other places insisted that I buy a while basket. So, I figured I would try this farmer's market to see IF they would sell me a... More

My family and I stopped on are way to Cades Cove. The young lady working in the market was very sweet and personable. We spoke to her about the area and bought some boiled peanuts. Then out of no where this guy started screaming at one of the employees. It was so disturbing that we left right away. I can't... More

Stopped by the Smoking Pig on the way back to Pigeon Forge from Cades Cove. My family got the BBQ Platter, the Rib Platter and the Beef Brisket Platter. Everything was excellent. The baked beans were awesome and the homemade peach ice cream was great as well. Can't wait to get back there! Loved the Smoking Pig!

We were staying in the area last summer and my brother in law and I stopped hear on a whim because we were looking for some bbq. The guy working in the bbg stand was real friendly and we had a great time talking UT and LSU football with him while we waited for our food. We both had a... More
