From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

I visited on July 21st. The wine at Apple barn is ok, at best. The gentleman that served me samples, was unimpressive. He didn't tell me anything about the wine, didn't inform me of the wine trail...basically, he didn't speak to me. Wine tasting should be fun but I felt like I was a bother and didn't want to hang... Apple Barn winery was friendly. The wine was good and worth the stop. We ended up getting a few bottles to take home. They had a good variety to select from. They ranged from dry to sweet. The gifts for going to the five wineries were great. This winery is easy to get to. Just make sure you bring ID.

We've been to this winery a few times before. They've always been warm and friendly but I never cared for the wine. This year the wine we tasted was great. This year we left with quite a few bottles. Go visit, you'll love it.

I love visiting this winery every time I am in the area. They have such a great selection of gifts and a selection of wines that taste different from any other winery I have been to.

We stopped by for a wine-tasting-I'm not a wine drinker AT ALL; wine was ok but Denise let us sample the wine in a frozen peach Bellini which was AH-MAZING!!! Thanks Denise 😃

I can not say enough good things about the wine at the Apple Barn. The staff is the best. Paula helped us sample wine and chose which ones we wanted. Paula was excellent and went above and beyond to help us out. She def knows her wine. She even offered us a few flavors not on the menu. We purchased... More

This apple winery is pretty unique. The attendant was very kind with our group and the tasting was really good. A must go in the wineries of that area

This was my first time visiting a winery and sampling wines. We completed the wine trail and The Apple Barn was my favorite to visit. Our guide was amazing and very funny. She made me feel welcome and seemed knowledgeable about the wines. The sweet wines were my favorite. We ended up taking home a bottle of the Muscadine wine.... More
