Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art. « less

The applewood white is so good! Very friendly staff! Such a nice little place off of the main stretch of road. We will definitely be back and will more than likely be ordering their wine online.

The wine was great, we bought three different flavors. They also have a restaurant, and creamery, which we will have to try another time. They have a great selection of produce and homemade canned items, all delish. This is a must visit.

Krystal was wonderful, insightful, pleasant and overall excellent connoisseur! On our Rocky Top Wine Adventure, this was my favorite stop!!! Caramel/chocolate/candy coated apples down the hall, wine on one end, hot cider on the other end! Treats galore! BEWARE of the parking lot panhandlers!! A YOUNG man approached my large (6'4" 270lb) husband wanting $! Nuts! Every time we go... More

Of all the wine connoisseurs, Mac is the most personable and most knowledgable. He has his own personal flair that makes wine tasting an enjoyable experience. We waited for his bar to clear out to make sure we had him.

The winery was very nice with a large selection of wine accessories. The staff was unique :) talked with us like we were old friends which was nice but also seemed to be bothered by our kids. We were not out at a bar drinking just passing through and wanted to stop in with our kids that played around some... More

Our server, Jenny, was knowledgable on all the wines and more than patient while I took forever to decide on my final choices. If you like sweet- I recommend The Applewood White.

our server Jenny was rude and appeared to have better things to do then wait on us. she was always walking off and never told us anything about the wines. when she asked us what we wanted to try my group suggested we start at the top and work our way down the list and choose the ones we wanted... This was our third stop on the Rocky top wine trail and the server couldn't have been less interesting. We felt as if we were inconveniencing her. She seemed as tho she was surprised that we wanted to taste the wines. We were given no information about them and just asked us " anything else". And honestly we only found... More
