From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

Great place to visit

We stopped by to go to the winery but found so much more to this place. We tried the candy shop, fresh apple cider and got some apple fritters from the restaurant- great place!

Love the wines. They are definitely a must try however, the lady at the tasting counter was too busy taking a personal call on the work line discussing not having another ticket for the race on Sunday to be of much help! Love the Peach Apple just look for a taster that is interested in helping you!

One of the better winery's I've visited in the area. They had the best muscadine that I've ever tasted! I ended up buying 3 bottles.

My hubby and I, along with a friend, visited the winery tasting at The Apple Barn Winery. We went the first day on 5/7/15 and the lady that served us didn't seem very interested in serving us. We failed to get her name but maybe she was just having a bad day. We did end up buying $87.84 worth of... More

My wife and I go here every time we go to the mountains but this trip I bought some hard apple cider and it was delicious. So if you go here be sure to taste it. At 12 dollars a bottle you can't beat it.

Very neat spot to stop and shop. Have a winery, cider mill, christmas shoppe, restaurant and bakery on the premises. The wines are apple based and not our favorites, but our hostess was Paula (PK) and she did a very nice job explaining how the wines were made. Definitely worth a stop. The restaurant has a wonderful lunch menu and... More

Paula at the winery was an awesome person doing the samples. She was very knowledgeable and social. She was. Making sure everyone was having fun whether people liked wine or not. I would highly recommend visiting the Apple barn winery and ask for Paula
