Owner description: From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

A stop at this winery is always on my list when visiting Sevierville. A good place to go if you like sweeter wines. Their best seller is the Apple Raspberry and is certainly one of my favorites. Sampling the others is fine but I always walk out with a case of the Apple Raspberry. It's like drinking a sweetart......sweet from... More

Visiting Tennessee for the first time and The Apple Barn was highly recommended. The winery is apart of the strip with one end having the oldest Apple Barn restaurant then shops along the strip to the other end of the newest Apple Barn restaurant. The winery had unique and a wide variety of wine gifts! They also offer free wine... More

My husband and I stopped in here while in town and were pleased to find we enjoyed several of their wines. The gentleman conducting our tasting (which is free) explained the differences in each one we tried, and he didn't rush us so we were able to taste and enjoy. We ended up liking several different wines, so we brought... More

Spent the weekend for a birthday celebration and stopped in to taste some these great wines. Great service while listening to the server talk about the wines along with enjoying spending time with family/friends. Bought some wine to bring home!!!

This was my third visit to the winery. My wife and I have not had a bad experience there yet. When we come to Gatlinburg, we always stop and shop here. Most all of the wines here are crafted with apples, all are in house, You can't get this quality in the grocery store. They always have a seasonal wine... More

We had coupons for wine tasting and free gift. Taste at 3 different wineries and receive free wine glass. They are very beautiful and etched. Try it.

I enjoyed the wine tasting at the Apple Barn Winery. We were allowed to sample 6 wines here and learned a lot about wine. We found out that we like semi-sweet wines. The staff member who served us was knowledgeable and friendly.

I love the Apple Barn Winery. It's my second favorite on the wine trail. Wine is good quality and super tasty! Staff was polite and knowledgable. What more can you ask for? Be sure to grab some of the spiced apple wine and serve it warm, it's amazing!!!

My wife and I have just recently discovered wine. Thought I liked the sweeter wines but on a trip to North Carolina I got bold and tried some drier offerings and have discovered that my tastes have quickly matured! That having been said, we are hitting the local wineries again to try the drier selections. The Vineyard Red and Cabernet... More
