During our visit to the Great Smoky Mountains, my wife took me on travel adventure with her curiosity about the Apple Barn Store. I had no idea what she was talking about; one of her friends mentioned she had to visit this place because it was really great. Well, I was skeptical about this store and our visit because what... I love this place! We go here every time we are in the area. Fantastic, down-home atmosphere. Great homemade ice cream & apples fritters at the scoop shop. Cool candy shop. The two story country shop is great. They have everything from cookbooks and Christmas décor to breads and candles. And of course, all things APPLE. This is not the... More

The Applebarn is a nice place to spend a couple of hours away from the hustle and bustle of the main Pigeon Forge strip. There is a delicious restaurant that has great breakfast, winery, cute general store and a bakery/ ice cream parlor. The apple butter is amazing and my husband loved the cider. I would love to visit again!

Apple julep and apple fritters with every meal. Usually a long wait (20 minutes) for dinner during the week. Well worth the wait. Wintertime always gives me the dilemma of the soup tureen and skillet of cornbread but I always go back to my tried and true dumplings.

If it's got anything to do with apples, this store probably has it. Fresh ciders, pies, pastries, and of course apples. They also offer two other floors replete with other knick-knacks, toys, and wicker baskets. A great stop for the whole family.

I can't say enough about this awesome attraction. Four of us (my sister and our adult daughters) took a "good-bye to summer" trip to the mountains this past weekend, and we stopped here for Sunday lunch on our way home. We left about three hours after our arrival, not because of slow service but because of so much to see... More

We went here on a bunch of referrals. You will die of happy at this place if you want a belly busting breakfast. No real vegan options. I had a side of pancakes and cheesy grits. Skip the grits. The side order of pancakes was so big we took some home for the next day. Wait, jumping ahead of myself.... More

We have gone to Pigeon Forge several times. The first few times never knew about this place. It is off the Parkway and unless you are looking you will not see it. On about our fourth time here I looking out the car window and noticed several buildings with lots of cars in the parking lot. I found out later... More
