“Think again before reserving a fishermans cabin”

We rented a fishermans cabin. The paint was mainly off the sides of the cabin. Be sure someone else is in the cabin before you go to the bathroom-you get locked in it frequently. The bathroom doorknob falls off alot, so there is relief. AFter that, you can go when nobody else is in the cabin. It wasnt the cleanest... more

After spending the last few days at Fall Creek Falls, it was "almost" the way I remember it being since my last visit 20 years ago. The overlooks offer scenic views that are breathtaking and I literally couldn't pull myself away from the falls, scenic overlooks and acres and acres of wildlife. This was my third trip to Fall Creek Falls over the last four years or so. The area is gorgeous, and if you enjoy the outdoors at all, you can find enough activities to keep you pretty busy over a long weekend. So much to do, so much to see. Nature at it's best and a staff that appreciates the beauty and loves to share their stories about this Park. After reading the other reviews previously posted, I noticed not much was mentioned about the campgrounds. Falls Creek Falls is a great place to go camping. I have heard they are currently updating some of the bath houses and fixing up portions of the campgrounds which means those areas are closed. We took a weekend trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park this past weekend. We booked a room at the Inn which is located directly on the lake.
