The gift shop has ALOT of unique containers and pretty little vases to stash and display your corks! The wine tasting was delightful and the wine master knowledgeable. We choose the "Mountain Valley Red" which surprised me that I liked since I typically go for sweeter wines. Yay for trying new things!

We stopped at the Mountain Valley Winery while my wife and I were on a weekend getaway in Pigeon Forge. They had free wine tasting for the first four wines. We tried their blackberry which was a little tart for both of us. The server recommended their Mountain Valley Red which was very good. It was sweet and very fruity... More

Disclaimer: We did NOT do the wine trail. We stopped here on a whim - and after being here, we probably would have done the wine trail had we more time! The staff here was great, and the wine was awesome. We actually tasted 5 wines and then forgot what we had tasted and had to start all over. It... More

We stopped by for a tasting and found some great local wines. If you go make sure to try the Sangria frozen wine made with the Mountain Valley Red!

We visit this and other winery's often through the year. Be sure and do the wine trail, and get the card to check off the places you visit. One suggestion,,,,,get a designated driver, and also make sure you eat a few times when doing the trail. Be safe, not sorry. This is a great winery, and the staff are great.

Be sure to ask for the wine trail paper when you visit. These cards were previously available in all the visitor centers but have not been recently. This paper is for you to get stamped at each winery that you visit. The wineries listed are all connected together. After the first three, you get a wine glass and then if... More

The BlackBerry wine is amazing I used to have to order it by the case but now I live here and always have it on hand. Also the muscadine is another favorite of ours. Never disappointed

We visited Mountain Valley as a stop on the wine trail, and it was by far the best stop because of their assistant manager, Jenn. She took the best care of us and didn't just pour enthusiastically, she educated us along the way and went above and beyond. Great wine, great staff, and a great time!

JENN aka "Red" is the bomb. Our experience was awesome! Before we got to mountain valley, we visited 2 other wineries (Apple barn and hillside) that were sub par compared to our experience at MV. Jenn made our visit fun with a great attitude and fun personality. Not only did we get wine but also complimentary cheese. This is the... More
