We went to this waterpark last part of June 2009 and really the weather was probably perfect for this day, it was pretty warm but not really hot. With that in mind, you have to decide what you want to lock up 5$ and what you want to take a chance on leaving at your lawnchair (If your REALLY lucky... more

This is a great place for families. A very clean water park, the activities will keep you occupied all day. The only negative thing was the food situation. Very poorly managed--especially at the Campsite Grill. We waited 45 minutes in line and the food was overly expensive and not good at all. Otherwise, we had a great time at the... more

This is the worst waterpark I have ever been to. It is tiny, tons of people, and only a few rides. My husband I didn't even stay for 2 hours. It was a huge waste of time and money. I have to add, I DID enjoy Dollywood. Just please don't get sucked in with the Splash and Play option, because... more

We went to Splash Country in between trips to Dollywood. It was crowded, but not overly crowded. There were different attractions for all ages and levels of braveness! The wave pool was nice and from the people that stayed in it, most people must have really liked it as well. Every attraction, even the shallow kids play area had lifeguards... more

We were excited to beat the heat after spending an exhausting day standing in line at Dollywood central. Unfortunately everyone else in Tennessee had the same idea. We arrived around noon and had to search high and low for some chairs to set our stuff. The kids enjoyed the wave pool and the lazy river, about the only things you... more

Ok so I just was there on 6/19/09 and I live in a state that gets hot really hot. Being in Tenn on a hot day lets go to the water park. Bad Idea. That water was like sub 0. The lazy river was so cold that I tried to keep my butt out of the water. The whole time... more

We visited Splash Country June 6th and had a really great time. Except for my 9 month old nephew it was all adults and we felt like kids. We booked a retreat in advance since we were hoping to spend the entire day in the park and we were SO GLAD that we did. As soon as we arrived we... more

Alright, I'll admit that I was already a little skeptical. From what I had read on here and what I'd seen on the web site it seemed like Splash Country was more geared towards families and wouldn't keep a group of two hundred teens (poor families who were there!) interested for five hours. Well, I was right. After about two... more

I decided last minute to include Dollywood's Splash Country into our vacation. We had originally planned on leaving Pigeon Forge on Saturday morning. But when we got up and the forecast was for 90 degrees in mid September & I realized that Splash Country was going to be open.. it was the last operating weekend of the season (Sept 13/14)...... more

I've lived here near Pigeon Forge for 6 years, and went for the first time this year. Thought this place would be as disappointing as Dollywood itself so I was never to inspired to visit, I was wrong. I've been to plenty of water parks in my life and this one rates up there (don't be mistaken its not on... more
