I had planned on taking my 5 year old daughter here as a reward for a great year in school. The website says very prominently that there is NO weight limit. The website says, big boys ok! That is a complete lie. After getting my daughter all keyed up and ready for her first horse ride, we find out, that... More

We decided to go on a horseback ride in the mountains as part of our Spring Break family trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg & Smoky Mountains. I'm glad we did this - it was a fun experience for the whole family. We have young children (ages 5 & 8) who had never been on a horse before and the staff took... More

We went to Big Rock based on a TripAdvisor review. Our experience was was better than we expected. From the General Store to the barn and everywhere in between we dealt with professionals in a clean environment. In particular, our 8 year-old was scared and ready to get off her horse. The guide, Daniel, walked with her horse nearly the... More

Went for a 1 hour horseback ride. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed our ride up the mountain. Impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Would go again.

We had an excellent time at the ranch. Carol assisted us in choosing our experience. I am 6 foot tall and not a small woman and she worked to verify they had a larger house so my whole family could enjoy. Our guide was Denver. He was wonderful. The guide walks the trail, leading the kids horses. Realize you will... More

We went on Monday and bought the full package for 2 which included horseback riding, the petting zoo, and unlimited fishing. The trail ride was fine, the petting zoo was disappointing, and the fishing was fine. Then we went back on Thursday to fish some more. When we asked for more bait, a small cup of meal worms, we were... More

Great place to spend a few hours or all day. Plenty for everyone to do and not break the bank. We were traveling as a group of 10 people. While 4 of us went horseback riding the others fished, gem mined and enjoyed the petting zoo. The trail ride was through a wooded trail up the mountain. Great for young... More

This is a very well run attraction. It was very busy, but Carol was on top of it and the wait to sign up for our activity was short. I'd never been on an ATV before and was a little unsure of what to expect. Chuck was wonderful! He was kind, patient and very good at teaching a complete novice.... More

We visiting the Ranch on March 25th. We arrived early because the weather was beautiful and we figured it would get busy fast. We weren't wrong!! There is a ton of things to do while you wait your turn for the horse trail or atv trail if you get stuck in the crowds though. We choose the whole package deal... More
