Saw some of the most unusual cars, bikes, planes & motorcycles that I have never seen before. About 170 on main floor. Took the basement tour with an additional 250 more. They were painting in the basement so several cars were covered in plastic, that was a shame. Would still highly recommend it.

Another bucket list museum visited. Of all the museums so far this was the most enjoyable. Absent are the stanchions and ropes usually found in many museums of this class. You can get very close to the cars, able to walk 360 degrees around and be able to peer inside the vehicles. Great mixture of survivors and conclude winning restorations.... More

I have taken visitors to this amazing place that has so many different types of transportation. It is a very large indoor space that is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. It has a bathrooms that are spacious so that is easy for people to access...They have such a variety of vehicles to choose to look at... More

Don't expect to find the "usual" vehicles you find at most car museums. Their collection is eclectic. Lots of French car and unusual Europeans. Some European and Japanese concept cars. Some unrestored originals. Very entertaining and informative. Definitely a bucket list stop if you are an overall gearhead!

Just outside of downtown, the Lane Motor Museum is a fantastic place to stop, especially on a rainy day. Lots of history, lots to see and learn. Inside, there are over 150 unique / rare cars, motorcycles, and bicycles on display at any given point in time. We spent a good few hours looking at everything they had out. On... More

Highly recommend taking the tour. The tour guide was very informative and the amount of unique cars is astounding. One of the most impressive facts about this car museum-All the cars are in working order and are driven yearly.

This is a great automobile museum. It is different because it specializes in European cars. It is a working museum with many vehicles in running order. Some cars are in showroom condition, while others show their age. There are many works in progress. Admission is fairly inexpensive and it is well worth the stop when in Nashville.
