Most people were standing up during the event. I am short, so this is an issue. I got to hear the music, but could not watch the performance (all I could see was the backs of people). If I want to hear music, but not see a performance, then I can listen to music in my music library at home... More

We walked by that gorgeous building last weekend as it stood tall in the heart of the city. I really loved the columns giving the building all its charm.

We have been to the Schemerhorn a couple of times to hear the Symphony play with a couple of guest musicians. The building is beautiful and the acoustics are exactly what you would expect from a symphony hall. If you have a chance to go do yourself a favor and take advantage of it.

The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is just as beautiful as the music the Nashville Symphony plays. It's always a treat to attend something at the Schermerhorn. I'm honestly surprised that this building was built in 2006. The style makes to look like it's been here for a century, albeit, well kept. The the Neoclassical design with the large columns at the... We sat in the Founder's Box seats to see Kristen Chenoweth perform with the Nashville Symphony. The Schermerhorn is a beautiful hall. It is certainly a place everyone interested in the Symphony should visit. Sitting inside, you'd never guess you were 2 blocks from Lower Broadway.

Last Friday I had the opportunity to take my daughter to her first symphony. It was also my first visit to Schermerhorn. They played a piece from Mozart, and she sat on the edge of her seat the entire time. I was very impressed with the appearance and overall facility. I would absolutely recommend this to any family or friends... More

We loved the Nashville Symphony on NYE. The selections of music, the vocals with Sylvia McNair and the piano player by Kevin Cole could not be beat. We especially loved Mambo from the Overture to West Side Story. We have been to the Schermerhorn on many occasions and always enjoyed ourselves. The Big Band Musical Review early 2015 was a... More

The Schermerhorn is an absolute must visit when in Nashville! Of course, visiting Nashville is a trip to "Music City" and this means more than simply listening to country music! Several years ago, this magnificent musical venue was built for the lovers of music in Nashville and for those who visit the city. Try to get tickets prior to your... More

I saw Drew Holcomb and Ellie Holcomb for their Christmas concert. It was one of the best I've seen. This building is beautiful. The acoustics are outstanding. There's not a bad seat (comfortable seats by the way) in the house. If you get a chance to see someone you like, you won't be disappointed.

Wow. What to say about this place. Nashville is privileged to have such a venue. It's a beautiful building. Staff was very curteous. Worth a short visit just to see.
