I find it incredible that this venue exists in Nashville. It is an outstanding place to hear any concert, but there is a BUT. The acoustics are so perfect that when artists that are not used to playing in such a hall attempt to play with the same equipment that they use in a warehouse or other venue, the sound... More

We have been members since the new hall, we look forward to every concert! We also look forward prior to each concert for "conversations." A time to learn the who, what, why, and how about each piece. HIGHLY recommend a concert or a season of concerts.

The theater is very impressive as your approach as well as inside - nicely decorated. It was smaller seating than I anticipated. We had seats in the upper balcony on the sides. Each area was small in the number of guests which lends itself to an intimacy. Seats were individual wooden chairs with seat padding and wooden arms. Initially the... More

It's a wonderful venue for the orchestra, but if you're planning on getting food there before the show, good luck. There really isn't food to speak of except for snacks, you can get prepackaged sandwiches and chips, things like that, all self serve and a few tables and chairs. However, they do have lots of liquor stands.

This venue is ranked among the top 5 Symphony and music centers in the United Sates. I have attended many performance here from Opera, Orchestral performances to Kenny Gs' performance. You will be amazed. All seating is good except behind the stage. The performers tend to play to the masses in front of them. Parking is good around the center... More

Had never visited the Schermerhorn prior to purchasing a season ticket package last year. Beautiful venue, fantastic seating options, varied musical offerings. The Nashville Symphony under the direction of Maestro Guerrero is outstanding and proof positive Nashville has more than a bunch of "pickers". Non-classical offerings are enhanced by the acoustical excellence of the building. Seeing Buddy Guy here was... More
