The Gaylord Poryland Hotel and Convention Center is a destination all its own while in Nashville. The complex sits under glass roofs over 9 acres and five distinctly different landscales that embody the best of the Old South. The architechture and design are fabulous and you could easily get lost but for the generous signage and help from any of... More

The hotel is pricey and packed with people, but the gardens are beautiful. The rooms are just standard rooms and the view from my room was just okay. For more money a good view can be obtained. Not sure I would want it to overlook the gardens because it could be very noisy.

We stayed in another hotel but visited the Opryland Hotel upon a relative's suggestion. I wish we had stayed there at least one night or had more time to enjoy this beautiful property. I read somewhere that this place is the largest non-casino hotel in the continental U.S. It's huge. We enjoyed our walk through the gardens among the foliage,... More

I didn't stay at this resort but did visit during my Tennessee vacation. It is a beautiful sight with excellent restaurants and plenty of photo ops. The Delta boat tour is moderately priced ($38 for three adults/one child) and offers countless details as to how the resort came to be. One piece of advise, don't pay the $21 parking fee.... More

This hotel ranks as one of the most beautiful places we've stayed from around the world. The atriums are absolutely gorgeous. Be prepared to walk here as it is huge & very spread out. The rooms are very comfortable & clean. On our last night, there was an issue with our sprinkler system in the bathroom, which wasn't really a... More

The hotel is definitely something to see and experience. The rooms are nice, but what is really great about the hotel is the gardens and lobbies. They are beautiful and well maintained. This is also it's downfall. This place is a giant tourist trap and filled with screaming kids. It makes it hard to enjoy, but a must see if... More

Even if you are not staying at the hotel... you must see this place: It has EVERYTHING: World class restaurants , world class gardens and ect. This hotel is truly "Nashville's Shining Star." I am a Nashvillan and we love our tourists! So here's some helpful hints to our tourists: 1. If just visiting the hotel and gardens: They charge... More
