Although this is a hotel you really should see the gardens with the moats full of alligators. It's all enclosed in a big glass bubble. There are nice walking paths with shops and restaurants. It's huge inside, so be prepared for lots of walking.

This place is definitely something to see. It's pretty peaceful. Very unique. There's so much to see. You can just take a leisurely stroll through. Stop and grab food or Ice cream & just hang out. So many different parts of the hotel to see. Lots of walking paths. Only thing is the parking. Don't pay for it. Park across... More

One of the jewels of the Nashville area. Beautiful, and entertaining. A delight at Christmas and year round.

The gardens are beautiful and very well manicured, a great place to spend an afternoon and grab a quick lunch. We ate at the jack Daniels restaurant, and I had the best Caesar salad ever! Relaxing way to spend a few hours.

When we arrived at the resort we found parking to be limited and had quite a walk from the parking to the resort. However it is worth the walk to see the facility. It is one of the largest hotels in the US that does not include gaming. The river cruise was not long but interesting facts about the resort... More

We stopped at the Opryland Hotel early on a weekday morning to enjoy a walk in the atrium gardens while they were fairly empty. The gardens are huge and beautiful. The pathway designs are great for walking around the gardens. The plants all look perfect--in fact, they look almost fake! The designs are so beautiful. There are lots of niches... More

There is so much to see here and a lot of walking. Water falls, water shows (Dancing Waters), flowers and trees, paths to wander, a boat ride, several restaurants with different types of food (The Cascades is where we ate and the food was great.), etc. all inside the building. It has two main areas: the Cascades where the jungle... More

We made this a stop on our travels around Nashville and it was amazing. This is the largest hotel/garden I have ever seen. You could spend hours walking through the many different paths that take you past waterfalls and lush green pathways.I felt like I was in the tropics.

What a great experience. A must see. Resturants, jungle walkways, a must see water show, and a canal boat ride in the complex. It is worth going just to see it. Give yourself at least 3 hours to see it all.
