My wife and I took our two young children (ages 7 and 3) to the Opryland Hotel and Resort during our vacation in June. I'd heard and read a lot about how big the place is--and don't get me wrong, it IS enormous--but we managed to walk the entire grounds (which are organized into 4 main sections) in under 3... more

This place is just amazing, you don't even have to leave to spend the entire day and evening doing something. Complete with a "boat ride" through the gardens, plenty of restaurants and shops, at least 1 or 2 live bands and the various pubs, truly an experience. Pricey - but then again - you get an awful lot more than... more

We stayed at the hotel for Valentine's Day weekend 2009. We used a special code to get a $99 room rate. When we got there, our special rate automatically turned into $150/night! They charge $18/night for self-parking and $15/night for a "resort fee." Our room was in the oldest section, the Magnolia. The room was small and the beds were... more

The Hotel is Nice but not as ebaborate as advertised. Parking is too expensive and the rooms are average and too expensive. However, the water fall is nice. The Christmas lights are not as breath taking as the ads make it out to be. I've seen better!!! more

My husband and I traveled with my mother (68 years old) for the Opryland "Country Christmas" package. We were there 12/20 - 12/22. The hotel was at over 90% capacity. We had two rooms and spent nearly $2000 for the entire trip. The Opryland Hotel was NOT prepared and completely under-delivered. Here are my bulleted pro's and con's: Pro's: -The... more

We live here in Nashville and we really enjoy visiting the Gardens at Opryland Hotel. Anytime we have out of town guests we take them there because it is a really neat (and free) place to walk around and enjoy the scenery without being outside. Also they have a free fountain show which is great for kids. Inside the Hotel... more

Great to walk around- eat, take a boat ride, and watch the fountain show set to music and lights during the night. It is worth visiting and strolling around-however, the restaurants are quite high and be prepared if you are going to eat lunch there. more

Grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept... Rooms are quite overpriced, restaurants overpriced--not for an average family. more

This place is great. There are goumet restraunts like the Watersedge Market and others. There are also many shops and a few convention centers and the boat tour. You have to take a boat tour to experience all of the garden. If you like gardens or you don't, everyone will be astounded. more
