I briefly viewed the hotel last year, but this year the kids and I stayed in Nashville and spent one day at the Ice exhibit (which I highly recommend) and viewing Opryland hotel. We rode the boats and the prices at $9 for adults and $7 for children 4-11. never saw the price listed anywhere, but in case your littleones... more

I visited Opryland with my husband and kids (ages 3 and 5 at the time) in December 2008. We love the ICE exhibit and decided to stay at the Opryland hotel on this trip so we could experience the hype ourselves. We booked a room for a Saturday and Sunday night. We canceled that room after I got on tripadvisor... more

We have been to this resort on two different occasions and just loved it both times! There is so much to see and do. The evening entertainment was very nice. We say acrobats and a water light show. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The rooms are clean. The outdoor pool area is beautiful. Well worth the money! more

This hotel has the most beautiful garden setting. There are all kinds of little sitting areas and waterfalls. There is even a boat ride in the middle of the hotel. There is also music playing in the back drop which makes it so relaxing. I really love this place. more

My wife and I took our two young children (ages 7 and 3) to the Opryland Hotel and Resort during our vacation in June. I'd heard and read a lot about how big the place is--and don't get me wrong, it IS enormous--but we managed to walk the entire grounds (which are organized into 4 main sections) in under 3... more

This place is just amazing, you don't even have to leave to spend the entire day and evening doing something. Complete with a "boat ride" through the gardens, plenty of restaurants and shops, at least 1 or 2 live bands and the various pubs, truly an experience. Pricey - but then again - you get an awful lot more than... more

We stayed at the hotel for Valentine's Day weekend 2009. We used a special code to get a $99 room rate. When we got there, our special rate automatically turned into $150/night! They charge $18/night for self-parking and $15/night for a "resort fee." Our room was in the oldest section, the Magnolia. The room was small and the beds were... more

The Hotel is Nice but not as ebaborate as advertised. Parking is too expensive and the rooms are average and too expensive. However, the water fall is nice. The Christmas lights are not as breath taking as the ads make it out to be. I've seen better!!! more

My husband and I traveled with my mother (68 years old) for the Opryland "Country Christmas" package. We were there 12/20 - 12/22. The hotel was at over 90% capacity. We had two rooms and spent nearly $2000 for the entire trip. The Opryland Hotel was NOT prepared and completely under-delivered. Here are my bulleted pro's and con's: Pro's: -The... more
