My husband asked me to marry him behind one of the waterfalls in the hotel. It is a very beautiful place to see and take the family. We go there often usually around Christmas time to see all the lights

We stay at Opryland hotel once a year for a convention. If it wasn't for that we'd never stay. Years back it was a neat place to go and walk around and look at the beautiful flowers and plants maybe even have a drink and enjoy the sound of the waterfalls in the Cascades or Delta area. Now you pay... More

The sections of the hotel are beautiful especially when decorated for Christmas. I think this is what it must be like inside of a snow globe.

This hotel is very nicely decorated on the inside. You can easily spend a couple of hours walking through the place and checking out all the amazing plants, trees, waterfalls, and so many other interesting things. The best part of it is that there is no charge...it's complete free to check it all out. You can even park for free... More

This place is amazing, no charge to wander the hotel and gawk. Better yet, stay a night. Even better get married there. It's big, it's glitzy, but it's really pretty, kinda Disney with fewer kids and only one ride.

Strolling through the gardens with all the waterfalls and fountains was lovely. A few shops, but not much and a few restaurants in the garden area with more in the hotel. We had a hamburger at a little take out restaurant that was exceptionally tasty. Took the boat through the garden and it was lovely. Worth seeing. The largest hotels... More

Parked on the backside to avoid th $20 parking fee; wandered the atriums for 1.5 hours. Something to see. Very lush. A bit "Disneyesque." Definately worth a stop if in the area. Food was really, really expensive ($30+ for a pizza!).

We had a terribly disappointing experience here. After being assured several times over the phone when we made our reservation that we would have adjoining rooms, when we arrived, there was no mention in the booking about adjoining rooms. We arrived at check in time with our three small children, and we're told that there were no adjoining rooms available,... More

Around 20mins from downtown and located next to the Grand Ole Opry, this isn't the most accessible attraction. It is an incredibly beautiful hotel and absolutely massive but essentially, it is just a hotel with a lot of plants. There is a lot of restaurants and shops inside the hotel and you could spend a couple of hours strolling through... More
