Love this park

This park is a very large walking park, that has some aviary spots, and in general is a great place to jog, ride a bike, and walk your dog. Not much else to say as its a park!

The Greenway and parks are connected by bike paths that lead all over Davidson County. Well maintained and safe. There are hundreds of out-of-the-way places including the several pedestrian bridges and interconnecting paths. Anyone could take several days exploring this unusual Nashville feature. I suggest a well planned bicycle expedition with a packed lunch(s), as anyone could easily explore the entire... More

Great bike trails, grounds kept nicely, skate park, family oriented, and peaceful. Went to ride the bike trails with family. It was very well organized and easy to follow along the trail

We came back with grandchild to feed ducks. We used to live near by 40 years age. It is much nicer now.

Tired of all the hullaballoo in Nashville? Treat yourself to an energetic walk, run, or bike ride along the many trails in this park. We enjoyed being able to glimpse the Cumberland River as we walked, somewhat bundled up over the Thanksgiving weekend. All generations of folks were out, everyone seeming to just be glad for the blue sky and... More

Peace is what I find everytime I visit Shelby Park. I have been coming to this park since the 1960's. My high school took senior pictures here in 1978. My son had his first birthday here in 1984. Every year we have a big family reunion for Halloween on Windmill Hill in the Park...we make a fire in the fireplace... More

Great place for kids and dogs. One of the best places for outdoor fun. Clean and well kept. Need to bring your own drinks and food. Did not see vending machines.

My son is a cross-country runner. His team runs in Shelby Park, so I've been several times and enjoyed the beauty of the whole terrain, natural and accessible, a bit more of the country on the edge of urban downtown Music City. Walking, running, training, I see it at at Shelby Park, including golf lessons and games!
