The Johnny Cash Museum features the world's largest collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. Walk through the life of the Man in Black depicted in interactive exhibits, films and much more. We feature a Bongo Java Coffee Shop and Museum Cafe. Officially endorsed by the Cash Family. The museum recently received the coveted AAA GEM rating; the highest bestowed on an attraction. We are one of only six attractions in Nashville to have this distinction.

My wife and I visited this museum in early February 2016. We are from Edmonton, Alberta. The museum is located in the downtown area about a block from Broadway. Although we are primarily blues fans, we love Johnny Cash music. The museum did not disappoint. A lot of the material in the museum was donated by a friend of Johnny's.... More

This is the best place for any Johnny cash fans! Even if you aren't a fan, it is so cool to see. I loved it there and will go back to see any additions they add.

We found the museum very interesting and enjoyed looking at all the things that belonged to Jonny cash. Found out some things I didn't know before. It's also.open till 7pm, which was good as we were able to do many things earlier in the day and then come back to do this.

If you're like me and you love Johnny Cash, you definitely need to stop by this museum when you're in Nashville. It's a fairly small museum so you really don't need more than an hour's time to spend, but you'll really have a good time seeing all the memorabilia and history of Johnny Cash's life and music.

This is close to Broadway and a fun attraction to visit. A little expensive but worth experiencing what Nashville was about many years ago and learning about an American Icon and my favorite entertainer.

Definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of Johnny Cash. At first, it felt a little "touristy" with a picture in front of a green screen that puts you with Johnny Cash, but it turns into a museum pretty quick as you walk through. Lots of things such as old outfits and instruments on display. Lots of audio and... More

Our absolute favorite place in the downtown Nashville area, with that said we are the biggest JR fan there is, even our truck is named June after his wife. This is a great museum, if you think you know everything about Johnny like we did, you are wrong, go here it is not to be missed. The pictures, the walls... More

I wasn't sure what to expect of this. The museum (which isn't inexpensive to enter) has all kinds of Cash-related memorabilia. Among the best were videos from every decade of Johnny Cash's career that let you see how he developed as an artist. They could have given more biographical detail - the movie "Walk the Line" had more of a... More

Visited this museum not because we are enormous fans (I think I'd heard only a handful of his songs prior to visiting!) but more as a way to find out more about a really influential man and his life's work. The museum is very well presented with loads of his original belongings, music points around the exhibition for you to... More

We had a great time at the museum. The information as well as the "hands on" experience was great. You were able to listen to his songs throughout the decades as well as catch a movie. There was an area to take a picture in front of a green screen where Mr. Cash would later appear. My only complaint was... More
