We are big farmer's market goers, so when we came across the one in Nashville we were pleasantly surprised. Needless to say we spent o we an hour at the market, it is huge, and spoke with the owners of the stalls and tried some foods, bought lunch etc.. Lovely place.

We went on a Wednesday around 1:00 pm and discovered most of the venders had already left. There was still a few selling sweet potatoes, turnips, greens, nuts etc. and a plant nursery. What we really enjoyed was the indoor food area. There was BBQ, indian, Greek, Cajun, asian ,etc etc etc. My husband had his first gyro and enjoyed... More

If i lived here, this would be a Saturday go to. The produce, baked goods and meats looked amazing. On the other end, there were so many booths with local artists. And a nice selection of restaurants in the middle.

A real farmer's market. Many of the stall holders had free samples of their product and were keen for a chat.Wonderful displays of pumpkins and potted plants. Big food hall with really interesting things to try. We got here by taking the Music City Free bus and then after the market, walked the length of the Bi Centennial Capitol Mall... More

Everything about this is so nice. My companion was able to eat a gyro while I had a scoop of ice cream. Perfect!

Local produce, food items and crafts are on display. Couple of local favorites had stalls and I enjoyed the soup and mushroom salad with fennel. Popcorn and cheese farmers provided samples. Go hungry if you are planning to visit the market. Great selection of healthy food is available as well.

This is a really fun and neat market. The vendors are all really nice and most give samples. The selection is wide and tasty! There's a food court inside with such a huge variety, it's hard to pick! There's definitely something for everyone here, so if you're with a group, this is a great place to visit. Not a bad... More

The market itself was a bit slow but it was midday on a Friday when we went. We ate at the BBQ place inside and it may have been my favorite meal of the trip and I highly recommend it to anyone going to Nashville. There is a nice old man outside that makes donuts. Stop by and have a... More

It is always fun to walk through a farmers market and the abundance of produce was fun to see for this Northerner. Open all but 3 days a year - there is also an indoor food court where we had a DELICIOUS lunch of grits with pulled pork over the top, smoked baked beans and fried okra. YUMMY!

This review is for Village Bakery and Provisions in the Nashville Farmers Market. Hidden gem of the Farmer's Market! A little hard to spot tucked away into a corner of the Farmer's Market beside Bella Nashville Pizza, this place is a real treasure of flavors. Village Bakery is definitely a step away from your regular lunch out option, into the... More
