Great Farmers Market

Great Farmers Market on the edge of German Town & Downtown, great produce & great food in the food hall too, defiantly worth a visit & also Centenial Park which is next door to it

We stopped in here for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Great place to eat. Some shops were closed or closing down. Will definitely go again when all shops are open. Lots of choices including International cuisine.

When planning our vacation, it was suggested that this is one of the favorite places to visit in Nashville. I can see why! The local produce was limited but still some fresh vegetables for sale. Lots of heirloom tomatoes. We visited the food court and were amazed at the different international foods available as well as good old southern cuisine.... More

Here's why you need to stop if you find yourself in Nashville (especially on a weekend): - Free Parking - Locally grown HUGE produce to purchase (literally walk into Shed #1 and smell fresh cantalope instantly) - Unique food court with wide variety of ethnic choices (Try not to eat when you're there. Just try.) - Plenty of seating indoors... More

Take a few moments to visit the Nashville Farmer's market! I head it is one of the top 10 in the country and I can say that it's by far one of the best I've ever visited. Incredible selection of produce from around the region, including Georgia Peaches! My only regret is that we could not take more home with... More

This was an amazing find that I wish I knew about sooner. Vast ecclectic restaurant scene. I thoroughly enjoyed Monchita's Homemade Cobbler, BBQ Market and Village Bakery and Provisions. Wish I lived closer to take advantage of the produce. There is also a flea market but I didn't have time.

We have two decades experience visiting the market. It's quite convenient from most Nashville locations. The quantity of vegetables locally grown is unmatched in Nashville. Some of the vendors appear a little commercial . We also enjoy the variety of plants available for our garden. Some herbs available only here. For lunch several options offer ethnic and Southern cuisine. Give... More

We were visiting family in Nashville and decided to just stop by the Farmer's Market one day. Delightful! It was a spectacular display of incredible mouth watering rainbow fruits and vegetables. I had no idea green beans came in such an array of colors. We're heading to Nashville next month and plan on going again. Our Nashville relatives have lived... More

There are two parts to the farmers' market: the outdoors food stalls and the indoor restaurants and shops. The food stalls had meager pickings during my weekday visit. There were a lot of empty stalls, although the food look fresh. I would not recommend going just for the food vendors. The indoor shops and restaurants were excellent. A wide variety... More
