In Nashville for 5 nights, we spent two evenings here. For Brits, who remember the folk music clubs of the 60’s, this is like those – except the folk are more exuberant and the music is consistently high quality from high quality musicians. From the casual “played with Glen Campbell for 11 years” to the slightly thinner “played with Terri... More

We caught the Doyle and Debbie show at the Historic Station Inn! What a great old venue!! All of that new stuff surronding that historic Diamond! This was our second time to see Doyle and Debbie. It is just funnier evertime we go! Great Bluegrass here as well! Please check it out if you are in Nashville. We are losing... More

Of course, it depends on who is playing there, but we loved our night at this club. Fun, informal atmosphere. People are very respectful of the music, sitting quietly and listening, but having a good time. The sound system was also great perfectly balancing vocals and all the instruments.

Came here for the first time in November to see Tim O'Brien and I fell in love with the place. It is authentic Nashville, not the slick/flashy/shiny/modern Nashville that is replacing the soul of the city. The sound system was great here and I can already say I will be coming back again and again. Sure the pizza was lousy... More

Visited Nashville earlier this month for a conference. Found ourselves at the station inn on Monday Night and so glad we did. The music is excellent.!! I am so glad I ended up here. Was the best music I heard while in Nashville. Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson, Val Storey ...just outstanding. The entire band was wonderful. Do

If you like country music or bluegrass or western swing, you need to go to Station Inn. We planned to go for bluegrass music, but never got bluegrass here. We did go twice in one week. We saw a band named 45 RPM that played older country music. There were great and we enjoyed the show. We went back and... More

Planned a visit to this legendary musical place based on recommendations from family and friends and what a night we had. Intimate place with a reasonable cover charge. Beers and sodas only, no cocktails. Got to see a legend in bluegrass and what a show it was. Some Grammy winning friends stopped in unbeknownst to us and made for a... More

I usually try to come on Monday night to see Blue Monday. Just love to hear Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle, Val Storey and guests like Jerry Salley and Ashley Campbell. But, this time u could not make Monday. So I went to see Aubrey Haynie and friends. Another great time with some decent pizza and a couple Cokes. Always make... More

My husband loves the real Nashville sound of a steel guitar, fiddle, and good ole twang when we visit. We found just the place. It's like a oversized shed with scads of people. We visited on a Sunday evening when there was a drop in jam session. No cover charge. Beer was cold and cheap. We didn't eat but they... More

This was the highlight of our Nashville visit so far! The Station Inn has a bluegrass session every Sunday night; no cover. The music was amazing; we arrived about 6:45 and waited to get in; grabbed the table right behind the musicians and had a front row seat to about 20 local players that entertained us all night. There was... More
