I took my dog here one afternoon to walk around and be near the water. The area is clean and there is a lot to do. Great for an afternoon with the family. The scenery is nice and isnt very far off the interstate so locals and travelers go there often.

Recently camped at Poole Knobs recreational area campground. This is one of the Corps of Engineers campgrounds and is only about 10 minutes off I-24. The lake is very nice with lots of marinas and boat ramps on all sides of the lack. There is even a boat ramp at the campground where we stayed. The lake is perfect for... More

Wonderful hike through the woods by the lake. Many people trying to make a U turn at visitor center which is on one little drive way. Only open Mon-Fri 10 AM- 3:30 PM!! Didn't see any drinking fountains so bring your own water. Couchville Lake doesn't allow pets but Percy Priest Lake does. Check ahead for more info. All part... More

Yes, many friends and family joke that visit, says Nashville has named a lake after me. I'm honored and pleased to first have a lake as beautiful as Percy Priest Lake, and right at my back door and share the name Percy 'P'. I'm on the lake quite a bit from many different points and it's simply wonderful. From the... More

We have been camping at Seven Points several times this summer and have really enjoyed the experience. It's a Corp of Engineers Campground with around 65 spaces. About half of the spaces are on the lake side of the campground. Sites include water and electricity (30 and 50 amp) and are paved with picnic tables and fire pits. There are... More

I was visiting friends in Springfield when we decided to go boating on Percy Priest Lake. The lake is huge, and has many access points. There was something for everyone. Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, water skiing, wake boarding, fishing, swimming, cliff jumping, you name it. The lake is also so big that it didn't get crowded. I loved it,... More

Our hotel was real close to the lake and we decided to drive over to it to see what was going on. Very peaceful. We enjoyed the watching all the fishermen and the boats.

Percy Priest is a large reservoir with several access points. We were pleasantly surprised that there is no entrance fee to get in. Although many other people were in the park, it was not crowded, and there were plenty of parking spaces. Very nice picnic accommodations, also.
