It was nice but we would never ever spend $22 a person to go back here. We gave it a try because of the reviews, but the price is not worth the attraction. would never go back here.

We appreciate your response to our ticket price. We often run tour discount pricing. The month of April we offer 50% off to anyone who is an organ donor. We always let active military in for free and we have many other discounts, as well. Our trails and disc golf course if free and open to the public every day... More

Toured the Fontanel mansion this morning and had Steven Whitson as our tour guide--the mansion is beautiful and the items in the house were extremely interesting. Steven was great! He was extremely informative, personable and humorous. Loved that he sat and played guitar and sang us a song of his--he is extremely talented!

My wife and I visited Fontanel Mansion the third week in March. We were in Nashville for a conference and heard that Barbara Mandrell had lived there. The weather was a bit nippy but that led to the quaint and coziness of the tour. We were fortunate to have Steve Whitson as our tour guide who entertained and shared many... More

The log mansion is incredible and Amy (our tour guide) was both knowledgable and personable. Admission is a bit pricey but worth it if you use the AAA discount available.

Fontanel is amazingly beautiful, set on acres of wooded land, close to Nashville, but far enough away to feel removed from the city. The gift shop and restaurant are well worth visiting on their own. We had an amazing tour and will return seasonally just to see the home in different weather and decorations.

I'm so glad you mentioned how close Fontanel is to downtown Nashville. (12 minutes away). I really encourage you to come back and see our beautiful Christmas decorations. We have about 17 trees in the Mansion and it certainly is a sight to see! Thank you for appreciating the beauty that Fontanel has to offer. More

The Fontanel Mansion (formerly Barbara Mandrell's and husband Ken's 27,000 sq. ft. log home) was great! The tour guides are aspiring singers and the memorabilia contained in the mansion is incredible. This beautiful mansion, not far from the Opryland Hotel, hosted just about every star and country singers you can think of. You are free to sit, pick up any... More

We had company from Iowa that visited for a few days. They wanted to see some local sites so we did a tour of the mansion. What a great time! Vance was our tour guide and was so informative! Be sure to visit the restaurant before you leave. Great food and drinks!

A small group of our friends scheduled a tour of Fontanel Mansion recently, and it met expectations. It is the largest log home in the US, I believe and is a fascinating place, whether you are a fan of Barbara Mandrell's or not. It is about 27,000 SF, and you can't beat Steven Whitson as a tour guide. He is... More
