Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek.

Well worth the time

We decided to visit this place. The tour was worth the time although it ran a little late. The house is fabulous. The highlight was the family room and the indoor swimming pool.

Our tour guide, Chris, was amazing! He was personable, knowledgable and just great! We came once before and he was better than our guide that time.

My wife and I toured the former home of Barbara Mandrell and family on a recent trip to Nashville. You have to check this place out! 27,000 square feet of log bliss for $24.00 per person. Well worth it! The thing that makes this tour different than others we have been on is the fact you can put your hands... More

This was a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the time we arrived on the grounds. Our tour guide was super... Steven Whitson was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and talented! We had plenty of time to explore all of the furnishings and exhibits and learn about their history. Steven performed for us and treated our group of 14... More

Mohawk Steve gave us a wonderful tour of this beautiful home. I particularly enjoyed the extent to which we were allowed to experience the house and the memorabilia rather than just walk by and gawk. Pick up the guitars, sit in the beds. I was not a country music fan at the time of Barbara Mandrel but this was an... More

The guided tour was 2 1/2 hours and we were told to sit on the sofas, etc use any of the available bathtooms. The home is large and very livable and our tour guide , Chris, made the tour interesting. We enjoyed the bus tide from the ticket office and after the tour had lunch at the Café Fontanel

Whether you're a country fan or not, this is a great tour! Our Guide, Chris, made us feel welcome and kept things flowing with his interesting commentary and terrific stories. He played the piano and sang for us as well, a special treat (it seems like everyone in Nashville is secretly an entertainer!). A multi-talented young man! The home is... More

Fontanel is located just outside Nashville and offers a very hands on tour. Once inside the mansion, you are allowed to pick up and play the guitars, sit on the furniture, lay in the beds etc. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome inside the mansion. The structure itself is absolutely beautiful; Unbelievable really! The... More
