There was only 5 in our late afternoon tour and that made it special. We could touch everything including guitars on the wall, and I even sat in Barbara's bathtub. We were able to sit on couches and even her bed. It was ok to take pictures unlike most other places. Our guide was very informative and funny. This tour... More

We were looking for something to do on a rainy day. This tour was excellent and our tour guide, Chris, was such a natural and made us feel at home. You could tell he respected the home and enjoyed telling us about it. Beautiful home.

tour was quite extensive covering the years the family lived there. very secluded and picturesque location. the young man who was our tour guide was well schooled on the every day living experience of Fontanel. Helicopter pad in front yard was a nice touch of extravagance.

I loved this tour of Fontanel Mansion. They don't treat it as a museum. You can sit on the chairs and actually take pictures in the home. It was a very different experience. I loved seeing all the personal pictures, awards, and furniture that belonged to the family of Barbara Mandrel. One of the very best things was the relaxed... More

What a great place! It's refreshing that photography and touching is encouraged. It made my daughters day when she played a short song on the piano. Our tour guide Chis made us feel welcome and was very entertaining. We will be back for sure.

This was very enjoyable, and I know very little about country music. The mansion is beautiful and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Fontanel is a unique look into the life and times of a great country artist but they have added a restaurant and an outdoor stage for concerts in here back yard. The country scene is incredible, the people friendly, truly a place to visit.

No ropes to curtail your visits. No areas cordoned off. Guests are free to roam anywhere & sit & touch anything. Our guide, Brooks Coffin will soon be going on tour. He strummed a bit on the guitar as we were sitting in the main living area. What a treat. Good luck to this rising star. And we also visited the... More

We took the tour of Fontanel and were amazed. The house is a 27,000 square foot log home in the Whites Creek area of northern Nashville. The video introduction to the tour stated that the house is the largest log home in the world. It impressed in every respect. We took the 9am tour and were the only patrons so... More
