What a great tour. Unlike most tours, where you cannot touch anything, here you get to touch and fell almost everything - this includes musical instruments, furniture, bedding, etc. In addition, our tour guide, Jennifer, did an excellent job of explaining each room and answering questions. She was so great that everyone in our tour group gave her a hug... More

This is a huge house. I love touring houses and this one had so many amazing things to see including country star memorabilia. Wonderful!

I loved this largest log house set in the woods. Lots of musical instruments to see and photos of the Mandrell family. (Don't miss a side trip to Prichard's distillery near by.

We didn't know much about this place. Came across it online looking for something to do on our 3 or 4th trip to Nashville. Was a surprisingly great house to visit, so many details. If its your first trip to Nashville prob not top of the list but if your looking for something to do definitely worth visiting.

This was once the home of Barbara Mandrell.. I guarantee you will never see a log cabin home like this one.. The inside as well as the outside was beautiful.

It was wonderful! The elevator lift made the top floor accessible to us. My pictures turned out great. Everybody there was so friendly. I would advise everyone to go there.

In planning my trip to Nashville, I didn't think I cared about going to see the Fontanel at first. Then after reading other TripAdvisor reviews, I changed my mind and added it towards the end of my trip. So glad I did. This tour was a refreshing change from all the other tours I took in Nashville. First of all,... More

I'm not really a big country music fan, but I live in a log home and was attracted to the tour of this 27,000 square foot log home. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! This place was not like a museum; the tour guide allowed us to sit on the sofas, lay on the beds and take pictures, sit in the tubs,... More

We visited Fontanel last week during our week in Nashville. We had this tour recommended to us and were so glad we went. Our guide, Jennifer, was great. Very informative, friendly and easy going. The non-museum type rules were so nice to be able to take pictures, and touch and see things. Getting the knowledge of the home and the... More

This is a fascinating unique property. The guided tours are small so you really experience the home. You are not rushed so you can soak up the atmosphere.
