Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

What a great home to tour. The best was you got to touch, sit or lay on the furniture. You also got to take pictures of anything in the house and I mean anything. You could open drawers look in cupboards. You just felt very at ease there. The home is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Our tour guide was relaxed... More

My husband and I don't really like "tourist" stuff, the lines, the crowds, the expense, urgh..... Anyway this house was a wonderful thing to see and worth the cost (which wasn't bad, $20.00 a person, I think). How many times do you get to tour a 27000 sq ft home? But honestly I think our tour guide made it even... More

We had a great time visiting the house. We enjoyed our guide Steven Whitson. He sang for us, told great stories and he learned and remembered ALL of our names (and we had 37 people on our tour) The best of luck to you Steven! The crew at the Fontelle cafe were also great... The food was very good and... More

Impressive and depressing at the same time. The largest log-cabin in the world, built with wood that is now in short supply. Beautiful location in the hollow of the woods, likely gave the original owners the privacy they lacked in public. A monument to the stupid rich.

My husband and I would recommend the tour of Fontanel Mansion. We had a great tour guide and felt right at home during our visit. We also enjoyed visiting the winery, distillery and eating in the restaurant there. If you want to do something fun while in Nashville, visit Fontanel!

I should mention off the bat that they allowed me to stack discounts (student/AAA). The mansion is only accessible by tour tix purchased at the gift shop. The actual mansion is a good 1+ mile away. The mansion has a nice balance of excess and homey touches. You can tell it has been a true residence in the past. I... More

Wish I knew more about Barbra, but loved touring the home. Loved holding the guitars and sitting on the furniture! Added to the experience. Our tour guide, Vance was excellent. AAA discount was a plus.

Guides were excellent. Really made you feel at home. You could sit on the furniture, play the guitars etc. They really made you feel like family! Great value and a definite must do when you travel to Nashville.

My husband and I went with another couple to see this attraction while staying in Nashville recently. The mansion was beautiful and the property was tucked back in a peaceful wooded setting. The tour guides were very entertaining and even sang a song at the end of the tour. I would recommend this attraction but would never leave a purse... More

My mom and I have been to about every home tour in Nashville. This being one of our favorites. We arrived at the first showing, which I highly recommend, and had a more intimate tour than most because our group was small. The house is a house not a museum so you can take pictures sit and stand where famous... More
