Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Nice experience off the beaten path in Nashville. Beautiful home (world's largest log cabin) and a good tour inside. Lots of memorabilia and some you can handle. The only problem was that the 2 tour guides were constantly standing in your way making it hard to take pictures. Everything else was good.

The Mansion is absolutely beautiful. It is great to see all the memorabilia that has been saved. Our tour guide Chris was outstanding.. Highly recommend to anyone who will be traveling to Nashville.

Quite a place. Take lots of pictures to show your friends at home. We were told this log home took almost 2 years to build and all of the logs were shipped from Montana. Lots of original furnishings, photographs and memorbilia. Worth seeing.

The house and grounds are beautiful. Our tour guide was a wealth of information and stories. My only difficulty was finding where to get tickets and how to get up the hill to the house. Buy tickets at the farm house in front of the restaurant and ride a small van up to the log mansion.

I've never been inside a house where you were encouraged to handle the musical instruments and sit on the furniture. Not only is this a beautiful home but the stories behind its construction and the family who lived there made this one of my favorite tours ever. Our guide Jennifer gave us enough time to enjoy each section but not... More

We arrived about 45 min before our tour at 9:15 am & the place seemed a bit dead. We decided to hit the Coffee joint. The Coffee house needs real coffee! They just had a Keurig machine. Add some muffins, pastries & real coffee & this would really help kill time before tours. Another odd thing, the Coffee Shop was... More

Up and coming musicians are excellent tour guides who at one point of the tour sit around the piano playing and singing a couple of their favorite songs! We had such an enjoyable time with Steven! A must see.

Enjoyed our visit, winery and distillery on property as well as an unusual log cabin house. Everyone was nice and friendly and would recommend if you are in the area.

Lovely and huge log house with lots of interesting things to do on the grounds including wine and bourbon/rum tasting. We had an event there so were treated to a lovely meal inside the mansion and got to meet Barbara's lovely daughter and sister Irlene.

We enjoyed the lax pace of this tour. The guide (Steve) was wonderful. You get to see and TOUCH everything!!! One word of caution, they are in the process of making more things to do at the visitors center (wine tasting, etc) but much of it is still under construction currently so you may not get the full experience as...
