Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. I've been to Nashville several times and been to most of the attractions. I was visiting with my granddaughter and she wanted to see a country stars mansion and how we ended up choosing Fontanel. We had a great time and the tour guide, Steven, was awesome! Informative, funny, talented and kept the tour personal, he even remembered all of... More

We were lucky enough to have Steven as our host for the Fontanel "tur" and just loved it. He was fun, informative, ridiculously talented and a cutie pie to boot. His stories brought this beautiful home to life!

I'll admit that I was unaware of Fontanel until I saw it on TripAdvisor. Now I "firsthand understand" why it's so highly rated. Our guide, Steven Whitson, was knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and a talented country music singer in his own right. Steven's taking out his guitar and entertaining us with a couple of his own songs showcased the acoustics of... More

I'm not sure what all the visitors who gave it 5 stars were comparing it to. I'd rather sit on a park bench humming to myself for an hour and a half than go there again. While the tour guides, drivers and employees were delightful, it's not enough to make the log home worth touring. It is just a very... More

It's a big log cabin country house. I found the tour a bit sluggish, but everything was nice. Not being a huge fan of the historic country music scene kinda left me at the door to this epic feat in forest architecture. If the history of country music is your bag, then this place is something to see- otherwise...it really... More

Steven Whitson was an AMAZING tour guide, he was friendly, knew a lot about the property, and made the tour fun and interesting! Go see the mansion and ask for Steven!

This tour is a must see if you are visiting Nashville. You will not be sorry. Call ahead and ask which "turs" Steven Whitson is doing. I'm sure all of the guides are great, but Steven made the visit to Fontanel Mansion one that we will always remember. Beautiful home, gorgeous scenery, and interesting stories. Don't miss it!!

Reservations are suggested...we were lucky to get onto the last tour of the day. The onsite shop, wine tasting room, and restaurant are charming. Our tour guide was Steve and he was very good....and entertained us with a song in the Mandrell's great room. Loved being able to see how they lived while they occupied the home.

What an Amazing home, A Must See, our tour guide Steven Whitson, was incredible. He made us laugh the whole tour, he sang a few of his own songs, made our experience all that more memorable. By far, one of the best attractions in Nashville.
