Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Best tour I have done in years. You can pick up musical instruments, wear Minnie Pearls hat, and so much more that most tours prevent the hands on experience. Plus its the biggest log home in the world in a beautiful rural setting just minutes from Downtown hustle and bustle of Nashville. There are also concerts held in the outdoor... More

Never been on a tour that let's you interact with the property and artist memorabilia like this place. Play the guitars, sit on the bed etc. Our tour guides Steven and Oatis made it even more enjoyable.

With my best friend, her daughter and 4 year old granddaughter we took the 9 am tour. We didn't have a long wait at all until the bus arrived to take us to the Mansion. Our driver was extremely friendly and knew the history of Barbara and Dudney. A video was also showing on the bus with was helpful. Before... More

Growing up, I LOVED Barbara Mandrell and her sisters. Because of her, I fell in love with country music. What a treat when I found out that they were giving tours of her mansion that the family lived in until 2002. Steven was a great tour guide. Very patient with the children and such a nice person. Amazed that she... More

This is a must see for simple or avid traditional country music folks or a person who is interested in log homes. It is the largest square foot living area in the country. I was amazed. Four floors in some areas, Montana Log, beautiful pine, oak, and mahogany wood. The name given, Fontanel, comes from the word "beginning." The word... More

We ( 9- 5children 4adults) had a great experience thanks to Steven. We thought we were going to have to cancel the tour. Two of the children (11 months and 22 months old) fell asleep while waiting for the bus to pick us up they were in their carseats attached to the stroller and the only way we were going... More

Beautiful venue. Dedicated performers. Literally weathered the storms to please. They did not disappoint. Some of the staff could use some training. We were traveling from out of town and needed some information on what to expect. Those answering the phone and some working at the facility weren't familiar with the area, couldn't give directions, had never been to a... More

We arrived on property about 10:30 a.m. and was told we could not go on the tour until 12 p.m.. We decided to go over to the distillery to kill some time. The ladies there were very friendly and inviting. They invited us to taste the first Tennessee rum and moonshine that was a first for me but enjoyable. I... More

It's $25.00 a person to take a tour of a mansion. Needless to say we did not take it nor did we spend further time there to spend money in the restaurant or winery.
