Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

This attraction was recommended to us and we recommend it to you. The house was amazing and the ground gorgeous. Enjoyed the wine tasting and would come back to try one of the eateries. But the best part of the trip was the very talented Steven Winston. He was so charming and sang us 2beautiful songs. Still enjoying the CD... More

The log cabin mansion is just spectacular and our tour guide ,Steven Winston , made the tour special in every sense of the word. Not only was he knowledgable and personable,he played the guitar and sang beautifully. There's also a great gift shop, restaurant, hiking trails, zip lines, etc. It's well worth the short drive out of the city.

If you are a fan of country music, this is a must see. The mansion is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the memorabilia too. Our daughter grew up after Barbara Mandrell was in the spotlight but she still thoroughly enjoyed the tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Nashville.

The docents make this a great stop. From the gentleman who picks you up and drives you to the mansion it is a great visit. I have never visited a home where they encourage you to "touch" items and make yourself at home.

We stopped at here on our way into Nashville because we had a couple hours before we checked into our hotel. My family enjoyed tour and tour guide (Steven) was so nice and remembered everyone's name on the tour. (great memory) Tour lasted 1 hour and 15 mins. The Fontanel grounds are well taken care of and there was a... More

We are not country music fans, but were looking for an activity while in Nashville. We were not at all disappointed by our choice. The mansion is really neat. It's large, but did not feel extravagant (well, except for Barbara's closet!!). We loved the Great Room and the indoor pool/entertaining area. I also think it is great that you are... More

My wife and I visited the Fontanel Mansion Yesterday. It was an interesting tour of the largest log house in the world. Of most importance was the Mandrel Family, who built this home and lived in it for a number of years. If you are a fan of Barbara Mandrel, this is a place you want to visit. The tour... More

We decided to do this instead of the Country Music Hall of Fame. It was nice but I wouldn't do it again. The tour was about two hours and it was hot inside the house. It was pretty but not worth it for me!

Nice story but the property itself was a little disappointing . Somewhat dated. Just not not what I expected but the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Told some really sweet stories about the family. At the end of the tour the guide sang. She had an awesome vice.
