Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Nice story but the property itself was a little disappointing . Somewhat dated. Just not not what I expected but the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Told some really sweet stories about the family. At the end of the tour the guide sang. She had an awesome vice.

The visit was well organised with the bus collecting us on time for the one mile trip to the house. Our guide Otis was very well informed, a great singer, and generally nice guy who endeared us to the property . Well worth spending a couple of hours of your holiday here.

My teenage daughter and I had a great time on this fantastic tour guided by real country music musicians. We were serenaded by two different singer guitar players with current CD's. They guide you through the home explaining how the home was built by Barbara Mandrell's husband and how he and she made it their family project. It's unique and... More

Best tour of our trip to Nashville! As lovely as the house is. . our Tour Guide Steven Whitson was the best part of the tour. Steven welcomed us & spoke to us as a friend not from a script as many guided tours do. We loved the music & stories Steven shared. My husband, myself & our 15 year... More

Unlike some museums, here you can actually touch many of the exhibits. Everyone in our group took advantage of the opportunity and it made the experience stand out in our memories. Our guide was very personable and provided several great stories about Barbara and her family.

The mansion sits off the road so they run a shuttle bus from the Gift Shop to the mansion. The home is great. They let you know what items in the mansion are from Barbara Mandrell and what is there from other sources. Our guide provided enough information to make this a worthwhile visit. I would recommend it for country... More

Great place to go for a couple of hours visit. And eat at the restaurant, great Italian food. Not expensive at all.

Loved the property. The mansion itself is beautiful. It was so much fun to see all of the photos of the stars and the memorabilia. There is even a phone book with the names of all of the famous people from the 60's through 80's. I could have hung out for hours. I didn't get to stay long enough.

We were drawn to the Fontanel Mansion primarily because we love log homes and couldn't imagine one that was over 27,000 square feet. We also thought seeing one of country music's biggest stars home up close and personal would be fun. This is a very different tour. First of all of the tour guides are musically talented, many have albums... More
