Beautiful and peaceful

Must see for history buffs. There was so much to see and read in this park. I learned a lot about Tennessee from this park. Had a great view of the capital.

I love it when I stumble on some fantastic attraction like this park. I was following the recommend bike trail issued when you rent the bike in Nashville's Bike Share program, when I came up to this park. This park is beautiful, peaceful, well maintained and also educational. I learned a lot about the war. At the other side there... More

There was a lot of construction happening around us but we were too busy enjoying the day at the park. Dog friendly, lot's of open space and clean.

Loved the bells! Peaceful walk and leads right to the capitol and farmers market! Need a bathroom though!

If you would like a place to take a long walk, sit and read or sketch or set up an easel to paint, this is a gem in the downtown Nashville area located adjacent to the Farmers Market where you can buy the freshest produce from local farms in season as well as plants and flowers. Also some interesting stores... More

Wow, way to go Nashville. This park is great with room for more if needed. I didn't even know this place existed, it didn't when I moved away from TN back in 1995. Such a great addition. I really enjoyed the giant map and the timeline markers but my favorite was probably the war memorials. This place should be on... More

Nice park, good walk but nothing spectacular. Some friends were a bit too excited... The columns and globe are fun.

My friend and I spent about an hour on our own walking and reading and listening to the bells. The view of the capital building is a must in Nashville.

The wall that edges this park and the walkway on the parallel contains more history about Tennessee and Nashville than I ever knew! It is a peaceful place to contemplate and reflect.
