Nashville has grown tremendously. It's filled downtown with bars and places to eat. The food in Nashville is fantastic but Downtown is congested with traffic and large crowds of people. Most are drunk. Music is banging from every opening from every bar. Only country music though. Lots of slower moving vehicles like horse carriages, golf carts, and those peddle carts... More

Downtown is for the party crowd. There is plenty of bars and music to hear. The main strip is broad street If I remember correctly. We found that if you wonder a few streets off the strip you could fine bars that weren't elbow to elbow with people. We enjoyed our time downtown but wouldn't want to do it every... More

We really enjoyed downtown. It is bright and chaotic but there was something for everyone. The kids loved the Shelby pedestrian bridge. There was a lot of music, some better than others. Good place for a day with the family.

FUN! Best if all in your party are over 21. Buy your boots, have a drink, listen to music and eat good food. Fun day or night

Very nice downtown. We went through the streets and the music scene was evident everywhere. Also, the river is a good place to relax and walk.

Broadway is one of the main drags. We enjoyed the street musicians, clubs and restaurants the most. There are some boot shops and some trinket shops and several places to see within walking distance. We stumbled into a great band inside Acme. There were also some fun shops inside the Country Music Hall of Fame a few block from Broadway.... More

Our Nashville trip happened to coincide with Veteran's Day and parade. Let me tell you, this city knows how to honor its Veterans. Okay, that said, the downtown portion covering Broadway is great. There's dozens of honky-tonks lining the street and each one has live music. It seems like so many people there; bus drivers, tour guides and more are... More

A wide variety of things to do and you are able to travel with ease. No shortage of parking with most attractions within walking distance of a variety of parking garages. South Broadway has a ton of honky-tonks that feature live music from 11in the morning till 3 a.m. in the morning till 3 a.m.
