Our visit was during the week. We enjoyed some time in downtown during the day and at night. We saw a lot of great bands and enjoyed our visit. I can't wait to return.

My first trip to Downtown Nashville and it was awesome. It's one thing to be in a city or town with a main strip lined with many restaurants and bars and live music, but there's a big difference when the artistry level of the live music is so amazing everywhere you go. We had a great night listening to all... More

we loved the atmosphere of broadway, so many cool places and great music. not sure if it's comparable - but we liked nashville's broadway a lot more than the beale street in memphis

Downtown is very very crowded on the weekends,Sunday is easier to get around, but a lot of FUN! We went to many bars and partied. bring lots of money or credit cards as the drinks are not cheap.

Lots of bars with live music, nice little & interesting stores, great restaurants. People playing music out in the streets. Several museums and historical sights are also close at hand. Mondays aren't a great day to visit Nashville though as several places we wanted to visit were closed.

Nashville has experienced a great resurgence in recent years. There are some places downtown that after a few years I did not recognize it due to growth. What has not changed is the dirty, unkept, hold on to your wallet Broadway area. This is a grand tourist trap. Sure there is live music everywhere on and off Broadway and I... More

I like a good bar & all kinds of music but Broadway Ave on a Friday or Saturday night is just gross. Been numerous times. I've enjoyed party streets like Bourbon in New Orleans, Beale in Memphis, Fremont in Las Vegas, etc but Broadway is low class. Lots of drunken hordes pretending to be country western cowboys/cowgirls. There is some... More

The downtown night life is amazing. We went two nights in a row to just sight see and enjoy the environment and entertainment. There are plenty of bars with every type of music, most are country though. I enjoyed that most places had the front if the bats open to where you can look right in and enjoy the live... More

We live about 30 minutes from Nashville. We go downtown quite often. If you go spend some time on the riverfront. Beautiful area. Also walk around second av and Demonbreun. There are tons of wonderful restaurants. Go in some of the little shops and restaurants you are not really sure about. Especially if you hear music!! You may just be... More

Great friendly city with a constant back drop of music playing. We were lucky enough to see a free concert on the banks of the river Cumberland, excellent event. Using the free tourist buses are great and keep you out of the heat. However check the timetable we were waiting for a blue line after they had stopped running.
