We toured the downtown area which was crowded, but still managed to find parking and get around. We visited a couple of places to listen to the local flavor and enjoyed our time meandering through streets and shops.

We picked a downtown hotel just steps away from all the excitement of Broadway and immersed ourselves in this fun city. We are not the biggest fans of country music but it's hard not to become a fan when visiting Nashville

Every time we went into a bar and started to listen (which is sooo easy, and we did it about 20 times!!) we thought it might be the best band we had ever seen live. They're all so good its amazing!

Friendly city. Good mix of old and new. Stores other than tourist close early. The night lights remind you of Vegas. Music spills into the streets everywhere you turn. Parts of the city are dirtier than expected. Easy walking.

On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend it was very crowded in the middle of the afternoon. Lots of bridal parties out having their last fling. Party bikes and cars going up and down the street.

We loved the Gorgeous historical buildings. We stayed close enough to walk all over music row. The shops had everything you could imagine to offer. Every door you passed had a live country band playing. And, there were many ,many reseraunts ,bars and grills..we loved seeing All the Police officers placed everywhere .We walked there at night. To and from.... More

"Downtown" Nashville has many attractions. Honky tonks along Broadway street. Jazz and ballads in the Printers Ally area. The historical state capital building. The Ryman--the historical home of the Grad Ole Opry. And the new big convention center. You can hear a lot of music, and drink a lot of beer, and eat many burgers. You'll have the best time... More
