went to the cherry blossom festival downtown. It was well put together. There was a convention going on at the same time so the parking area had to be shared. You did not realize this. The festival supplied a bus shuttle. Every thing ran smoothly. The people in this town really know how to show southern hospitality.

Visited Nashville last September for a Titans Football Game. Stadium is across the river & connected to downtown by a pedestrian bridge. Park or stay downtown & walk to the game. All of the major tourist attractions -- Country Music Hall or Fame, Ryman Auditorium, Johnny Cash Museum, etc are all within a few downtown blocks. If you like country... More

Great feel to this place. Its about 6 or so blocks of nothing but non stop entertainment. The streets are clean and there is always a lot of foot traffic. We came the week of the NRA. Early in the week it was great. There are bars all over the place. You pop in and listen and if you like... More

This is not the place for children. I repeat, this is not a place for children. The music rising out of the bars is amazing. It promises a good time and it doesn't disappoint. But, don't think you're going to step up in any of them if you're underage or have children in tow. NOT happening. Bouncers are at doors,... More

Ouch on the parking - take a shuttle or bus downtown. Nashville sure draws the crowds and you'll find them all downtown especially once the sun goes down - oh my. Fun place, plenty to see and do and eat that's for sure.

Walking down the main strip (Broadway) there are tons of places to eat, bars (with music pouring out of each of them trying to entice you to come and spend your time and money with them), tourist shops, and many many boot shops. The last time we were here (about 4 years ago) there were many empty shops here and... More

I was in Nashville recently and trekked on down to Downtown. It was one of those places you have to see but after one visit I felt I didn't need to return. Lots of bars and fun atmosphere but I felt like the whole street downtown on Broadway was one bar and then a boot shop. We worked our way... More

Broadway in Downtown is where all the bars, music and restaurants are. It is very touristy especially on weekends. Plenty of places to eat, drink and buy cowboy boots.

Nashville is a wonderful city to explore. There is lots to see and do. There seems to be a great vibe throughout the city day and night. Amazing historical landmarks, unique architecture, sculptures and monuments on every corner.

In this age of dying cities, the trendy, touristy Nashville downtown is a hotbed of the music scene and eateries. Block after block of interesting venues and shops. We were only able to spend a short while in Nashville but loved our time there. It should not be missed and should be given more time than we were able to... More
