The best way to get an overview of downtown is with a tour, then go back and see what you want. We did the Grey Line Discover Nashville tour, and it took us to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium, and all over downtown. They are many restaurants and tons of stores to shop at in the... More

We (my daughter and I)were there during beautiful fall weather!! Lots of walking, music, sights, history, food, beverages and plenty of things to do day and night!! My husband couldn't make the trip, so he and I are going over Valentines weekend. I will see a few things again, but the three previous days I was there, didn't give me... More

Nashville is beautiful. The food is something to write home about, the topography is breathtaking, but the thing that will always keep you coming back is the people. You'll learn the true meaning of southern hospitality when you visit.

Just move from venue to venue and enjoy the talent - it's hard to imagine being discovered when everyone is so talented. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium or Bridgestone Center --- it's all walkable and the area is safe all around from what we could see.

We parked at a lot near the original settlement of Nashville, Fort Nashboro. It's a very nice walk if you happen to like historical areas.

Unlike other downtowns, Nashville seems to really have it together. Parking is better than most cities, and the entire downtown area that we saw was very clean, which was surprising. Broadway was really neat and the Country Music Hall of Fame was worth checking out. Also, if you are a TN Titans fan there are great photo opportunities of the... More

All the shopping, drinking, honky tonkin', and eating you need are all within a few block's walk. My favorite street singer was a man that sang and played guitar while his cat rested peacefully on top of his guitar as he played. Who doesn't like a cat loving, street performing, up and coming, next major Country Music superstar in the... More

We parked at the library for $5 on a Saturday. So many attractions are within just several blocks. Walking down Broadway was a blast. So much music and I loved all the cool neon signs. Many great restaurants and other attractions such as the Ryman Auditorium.
