The best honky tonk on Lower Broadway without a doubt. Don't miss The Don Kelley Band or Rachael Hester and The Tennessee Walkers. Great food at great prices and very friendly staff. A true honky tonk. Band schedule is on their website.

Roberts is the pick of the venues on Broadway. Consistently top notch music (although it's hard to find a bad act on the strip), often with a western swing or rockabilly twang. The bar staff are mostly friendly and the burgers are tasty and cooked 3 feet away from you. If you are going to only one spot on the... More

A institution and must for anyone visiting Nashville! There is loads of live music on offer in Nashville, but this will be some of the best you see by far, regardless of whether you're a country music fan or not.

This bar is a must. Great musicians and entertainers. From around 11am each day there is entertainment and this goes through until early hours of the morning. If you love country music you will love his place.

Many of the other Honky Tonks on Broadway are "hit or miss" but Roberts is almost always very good to GREAT!! Especially don't miss the Don Kelley band on weekends! The musicians in the band are all very good but my favorite is the string bass player--Joe, I think!! Plus--excellent people watching!!

Predictably like most other sheep who heard into Nashville we ended up on a rain soaked Broadway and dived in here as the first option. Good Choice. Great music, friendly staff and cheap grub gave way to a good night of live honky tonk which was just the reason we stopped by. Give it a go. No cover most nights... More

I visited Nashville for the first time for a work convention. We were downtown and one of my teammates, who had lived in Nashville, recommended we all go to Roberts Western Wear. There was bar after bar on Broadway with live music, and this was his favorite. Inside, there was a bar with a balcony overlooking the first floor. There... More
