I visited Nashville for the first time for a work convention. We were downtown and one of my teammates, who had lived in Nashville, recommended we all go to Roberts Western Wear. There was bar after bar on Broadway with live music, and this was his favorite. Inside, there was a bar with a balcony overlooking the first floor. There... More

The atmosphere, the music, the people, all fantastic! I feel at home on everyone of my visits. If you like the older stuff, this is the place for you to go1

This place is a true legend and maintains it's honky tonk roots. The music is traditional country and you will often find people two steppin up front near the band! I've been here many times but recently ate here when my in laws were visiting from out of town. They loved the burgers and I had the fried bologna sandwich... More

The music drew us in to the bar and what a treat! Music from two groups (we were there for awhile!) was amazing, especially the Don Kelley. Service was great, Highly recommend if you are into honky tonk like us!

Best bar. Food is good, personell is friendly. Music is great, volume is perfect(not too loud!). I went to Robert's with my friends or alone, any how: I'd enjoy myself

My husband, daughter (age 22) and I stopped in here after being disappointed that most honkytonks weren't playing country music. This place had it, but it was too classic for my daughter and for me. Great for my husband. The band played Merle Haggard and Ronnie Milsap to name two "back in the day" singer/songwriters. We stayed long enough to... More

Traveled with 4 other couples, one of which was familiar with this bar. We got here in time to snag a few tables right up front before the band played and we are so glad we did as the place got packed as the night went on. The bar is typical of Nashville - narrow, walls covered with memorabilia and... More

While lower Broadway is filled with music venues of all sorts, most of them are country music themed. One truly stands out in my opinion - Robert's Western World. This venue has been around a long time and nothing seems to change except a few items on the menu. It's located almost next door to the old Ryman Auditorium. Because... More

This bar is a great way to see some fantastic local music. Whilst jam packed, this makes for a great atmosphere. Service was friendly, plenty of beers to choose from....and also as an added bonus you buy a pair of your own traditional cowboy boots! One tip...if you aren't used to visiting bars in the USA...bring your ID!

We came to Nashville and only had one night. I'd read other reviews about Roberts Western World but my partner wanted to try Tootsies. It was pretty average and packed. We ended up walking down the strip and found National Underground right near the water - it was amazing and more for the locals. Then wandered back and popped our... More
