Went to the Western Art show, saw a garden train setup to die for, and now they're running a treehouse show that temps me to come back. Excellent mansion, buildings and gardens.

as a non gardener even I enjoyed the lovelly gardens at cheekwood this was the plus , but there is a minus too. After charging you ticket price for gardens they then hit you with a parking charge this I thought was unfair

The Cheekwood Botanic Gardens are quite an asset to the Nashville scene. We enjoyed a half-day there, and could have easily spent the day had our schedule permitted. We were particularly interested in, and captivated by, the "tree houses". It appears that different sponsored teams were able to engage in their whimsey and create some unusual habitats for children's fun... More

My wife and I enjoy seeing the fruits of professional gardeners and try to pick up some tips. You bettere take your camera(s) and walking shoes and plan a full day looking!

This is a wonderful attraction. Plan on spending at least a half day. There is plenty enough to keep one busy for whole day.

This a wonderful place which is mostly an outdoor venue, so seasons count. We were there with Grandkids over Easter and it was wonderful. Lots of things for the kid to do, lots of place for the Grandparents to lull about and lots of flowers and attractions! We were so happy, we became members of Cheekwood and will plan on... More

Not a very good Botanical Garden. They hardly have any flowers. Mostly for kids with open grass areas, slides, and tree houses. Best part was the bamboo garden and the Musuem of Art. It's too bad they don't furnish the building with period furniture and give tours. The fireplaces are beautiful. Not impressive as an art museum.

I can see visiting if you had small children who needed a lot of room to run and play but it is too pricey for a playground. Had a lot of trouble finding the entrance, signage is poor. Once inside everything was so spread out that unless you are able to walk long distances without trouble, you would park one... More

Beautiful grounds. Loved visiting the Maxwell house estate as well. Didn't like that the cafe closed early and that the food selection on the grounds were limited and very pricey. Otherwise a nice way to spend the day.

Cheekwood is a beautiful location. Fantastic gardens. Fanciful exhibitions-Currently Treehouses. I love the Scarecrows in the fall as well as the "Day of the Dead" celebration. Grat for walking. Places to picnic. Space for children to run. Always a great day.
