The gardens are well laid out, with vine huts and a treehouse to engage young children, many paved paths for strollers or walkers, and small art exhibits in the mansion for those wanting a taste of expression. We spent about two hours there, but didn't do the... More

Not what I was expecting! I was extremely disappointed at how NOT stroller friendly this place was, sure there are side walks sprinkled around but you can not experience what little this place has to offer in beauty from the sidewalks!!! Next I was surprised how broken up and scattered the actual gardens were. Too much work with a stroller... More

this place is a really nice get away for some hours. Beautiful flowers, man made creations and a home of 38,000 sq feet. Fun day out.

Wow! We were blown away by all the beautiful gardens there are to wander around - gardens with lakes, gardens for children, Japanese gardens and so much more. House was fun too. Loved the pecan pie at the restaurant.

Beautiful botanical gardens with different sections covering different flora and fauna. Lovely just to stroll. Don't miss Japanese garden of museum inside the house. Had lunch at restaurant and it was delicious.

Looking for a couple hours off the beaten path ? This is your spot. I am always so thankful that people are generous enough to open their homes and gorgeous gardens up to preserve history and beautiful outdoor spaces. Built on Maxwell House coffee investments, the Garden is very large and just so beautiful. Paths lead from one to the... More

The gardens were lovely, but unfortunately, a lot of the spring flowers were past their prime.I loved the Japanese gardens and the tree house was special. Two of the floors in the main house were closed as they were being worked on.
