We came all the way from Michigan to see our son who played in a featured band . While in Nashville you really need to take the time to visit the Bluebird cafe if you have the time. If possible make reservations. I went on a writers night and an open mic night and really enjoyed both. My only dissappointment was that if you go the later show and no body wants to leave from the previous show... more

WE were there last night and really enjoyed the talented trio ..A cowgirl, a diva and a red headed Hussy" . Sunday nite is songwriters night. Several songwriters not yet signed to a label perform three songs each. Very entertaining....no cover on Sunday nites. more

If you love hearing your favorite country songs sung by the songwriters that wrote them, you will love the Bluebird. Don't go for the food because it's only to make some extra money to keep the doors open but it is an amazing place for music lovers! There is nothing like it anywhere else! more

The music was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. The problem was the bad service! We apparently sat in the only four seats in the house that are not served by the wait staff, so we had to leave our seats in the midst of the performance to buy our own drinks at the crowded bar, stepping in front of everyone... more
