We visited this zoo 10 years ago and were happy to be able to go back. We have a membership at another wildlife center that gets us into zoos for half price or free (got us in here for half price) as well as aquariums and science centers for free (message more for the name of it, best deal to... The Nashville Zoo has different regions with a variety of animals. Of course if you go in the mid-day or afternoon it does get hot. The zoo is family friendly with many young adults with children and toddlers in the AM. There are a couple of great interactive exhibits with the kangaroos and tortoises. I did find their prices for... More

Parents, grandparents and 3 elementary age children visited the Nashville Zoo. We live within an hour of the zoo and parents had already purchased season passes after having fun the first go round. We grandparents paid $13 each for our one day pass. The free maps made planning our day easy to route our visit to all areas. I can't... More

There is so much to see and kid friendly. I heard from my friend that lives near by that they move the Zoo to this location to preserve an old house in the middle of the property. Great petting part for the kids and a jungle gym too. If I lived there I would get the yearly pass. Lots to... More

We had a good time here. esp. getting to see the newly born giraffe. Some exhibits were down - but a good time anyway

The Nashville Zoo is one of the best zoos in the southeast. There are numerous exhibits for children and adults to visit and learn about the animals of the world. All areas of the world are fairly well represented and you can see animals from all continents at the Nashville zoo. The elephant exhibit is nice and children always enjoy... More

We went with a three year old. He had a good time. His favorite was the meerkats because they were right at the glass and he pretended they were sitting on his feet. What we saw was nice but there was a lot of areas blocked off due to construction. The map was nice but there didn't seem to be... More

We love the zoo, the animals, the carousel, and the jungle gym. We have been members for 10 years....BUT I will never do Boo at the Zoo again unless they implement a maximum number of tickets sold, by specific night. Even Disney does that for any Halloween or Christmas party. We waited in traffic nearly two hours and it was... More

This zoo was very nice and clean. Enjoyed all the attractions. I feel that the zoo was somewhat small for the price of admission. Luckily we had 1/2 price tickets and it was worth that! Would love to visit again in the future.

Took our family reunion to Nashville zoo. I'm so happy it was half off admission with Kroger card day. If we had paid full price I would have been very disappointed. About 75% of the attractions/habitats were closed for renovation. This zoo certainly needs renovations. Most everything is paved, easy to walk on and handicap accessible. The sky glider was... More
