Love the kangaroo life lounging in the grass, so fun to be close to them. If you are hungry try the chicken salad Caesar wrap. I have been taking my kids to this zoo since 2000 and couldn't be prouder of what they have accomplished.

It was very well laid out, with a design that rivals many of the larger and more well known Zoos that we have visited. Lots of helpful and informative professionals and volunteers. The animals have large habitat and seem to be well cared for with the only down side being the limited number of inhabitants. This Zoo cares and with... More

This zoo values its animals? They have enough room, the enclosures seem comfortable for them. Although there is not as big a collection, nor as much variety as at more established zoos, this was a very nice zoo for a half day visit. The teen intern docents really seemed interested in knowing their stuff, learning more, and sharing what they... More

The zoo was fun, lot of animals, fun for kids and adults. I was there for a birthday party so we were able to see animals up close and then go onto see the zoo.

I had really lowered my expectations based on several other reviews, but this was easily our best zoo experience ever (and we've been to many of them). We're members of the Milwaukee Zoo, which is good in its own right. Nashville has fewer exhibits, but each of them is extremely well thought out. Yes, there's more walking, but that's just... More

This is not a world-class zoo by any stretch, but it is a BEAUTIFUL setting for a stroll with your family. The Nashville Zoo continually improves and expands its offerings. Exhibits are roomy and allow for clear viewing of nice variety of animals from different regions of the world. The kangaroo exhibit allows you to walk into the habitat and... More

While it was very hot on the day we went (heat index 107), the zoo takes precautions where it can by offering misting stations and a very air conditioned restaurant. The food was priced fairly and arrived hot! The staffers that we did have contact with were extremely helpful and welcoming. It made us Western New Yorkers feel welcomed and... More

Nashville Zoo was only $15 to get in and $5 to park. It does not have a lot of exhibits, but the exhibits it does have are very well done. The enclosures are natural and roomy for the animals. I really enjoyed my day at the zoo!

The best part of the zoo was a large play area for kids. Second attraction was the all you can drink slush cup. The zoo was above average and the prices for admission was average.
