Not only do you need to do this at least once, but you also MUST do the back stage tour, it gives you the chance to see the history and hear some of the stories that made the Opry what it is. The acts vary from night to night but you are always guaranteed to be entertained.

Great mix of old and new country performers. Fun thing to do if you like country music. The show is actually on air on the radio so there are a lot of commercial breaks which is strange.

This was our 2nd time to visit the Grande Ole Opry. It's always fun & enjoyable. We got our tickets about 2 months ahead of time, and we got great seats. We love the balcony area and got the front row there. The music is always great! Everyone needs to go to the Grand Ole Opry at least once in... More

After being in a convention for a week, we were really ready to get out of the hotel and enjoy the sights. This was one that brought smiles and lifted spirits as we thought about all the wonderful singers and musicians who have played the Grand Ole Opry over the years.

I have been several times to the Opry and took the backstage tour back in May. It was great as well. I was reading some of the previous reviews and noticed some comments that I can address or answer. When I first read the comments, it gave me a negative view of the Opry but there really is a simple... More

We're not into country music but it was still amazing to see. They had videos and you see the back area. We even had our picture taken in the circle and sang on the stage. Should see if in the area.

We liked the reasonable price ($22/person). We bought the tickets on line before arrival on a Sunday morning. We took the 12:00 noon tour and were pleasantly surprised. The groups go every 15 minutes and are about 25 people. The guide was informative and friendly. The building is relatively small, but historic. The tour lasted about an hour. The grounds... More

We bought tickets literally at the last minute & still managed to get in. The show was first rate. The acoustics in the auditorium are good, so no problem there. We were thoroughly entertained by Restless Heart, Jeannie Seely, Larry Gatlin/Gatlin Bro's, T. G. Sheppard, Vince Gill. Surprise guests were Trisha Yearwood & Garth Brooks. This was a first visit... We are so glad we went to the Grand Ole Oprey. We had a great time. But since it's a long way from home, we wanted good seats. At the same time, we were traveling in an R.V., had some break downs, and didn't want to book too far ahead and be really pressured to get there. So when we... More
