But any way you say it, it is Grand, the building is different then what we expected, kind of a big auditorium, but the music inside is just what we expected. Keep in mind that you can sit down for a two hour radio show, heard around the world. It's fun, it's family, and it's definitely country. If you love... More

If you go to Nashville, you HAVE to do the Grand Ole Opry---no ifs, ands or buts. It is the home of country music. We did the backstage show and then the show and it was amazing. Lots of information and then there is nothing like being part of the Grand Ole Opry---because it is live radio you are actually... More

The Grand Ole Opry was very interesting to see. The place is very well maintained. the outside has enormous guitars that you can take pictures of. The gift shop had very unique gifts for the country music lover. It is located right next to the Grand Ole Opry Mall. There is a rich history inside this beautiful place.

We went on the day time tour and found it very interesting and worth the money. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We had a view of many of the dressing rooms and access to one which was very good. The stories about the stars was interesting and great to see the room where the stars relax before going on stage.... More

I was born and raised with country music in my household ... Kitty Wells, the Carter Family, Jim Ed Brown, Ray Price, Hank Williams Sr, Hank Snow and many roots of country greats. While I was truly impressed with the Opry House, the size, the loss of the intimacy of the Ryman, the advent of the "new country music" left... More

For $20 you walk though the backstage of the Grand Old Opry. The good is that you can see what the dressing rooms etc look like. But really there just was not all that much to see for the money. On our tour we didn't get the chance to walk on the stage, due to a performance that was being... More

It was a really memorable experience. I know the line up changes every night but the variety was great, from old timers Ghost Riders in the Sky to young star Hunter Hayes with everything in between. The atmosphere is electric and you feel part of something special.

Took the backstage tour - Awesome. Got to see the star entrance, the green room, dressing rooms, where Nashville is filmed, Eric. Even got to stand on stage on the "circle" in the floor. Then took in a concert that night. Great seats no matter where in the venue you sit! I would highly recommend that you take in this... More

Not being a huge fan of country music, I wasn't sure about an evening at the Grand Ole Opry. But it was a great time with a variety of different types of music. Good country, great country, great bluegrass, with a little bit of oldies thrown in. all in all, wonderful entertainment and not to be missed when in the... More

Yes, it's mostly the old time country music with just a few of the younger ones, but often includes a big star and is simply the most historic concert you can go to in Nashville.
