Elvis Piano!

Take a picture seated on piano used by Elvis for recordings. The studio is awesome and is maintained exactly as in the old times.

This whole area over in music row is just one studio after another with significant country music history and lore. It was neat reading the signs and seeing the building which are largely 50/60's era. A lot of music history here. Drive through and move along!

We purchased the ticket to this with a Country Music Hall of Fame ticket I personally think the tours are to big could be doing with being smaller numbers loved seeing where Dolly Parton hit the wall outside with her car all those years ago!

So much history and a brilliant tour. Must book in advance. If you love music, you should go. This is where Elvis recorded after Sun records

It was a wonderful side trip from the Country Hall of Fame. Our driver and tour guides were friendly and very enthusiastic. You can tell they loved country music and their jobs. She let us take pictures in the control room and around the famous piano. There was so much information I never knew before. What a wonderful part of... More

It was fabulous and maintained as if Elvis was still around! Lots of the old equipment still in place and very interesting tour.

Interesting but not exciting for the average music fan. I think our guide could have pulled us into the stories more, he was definitely a music-snob and didn't have much good to say about today's music. We didn't take the tour to hear his opinions. Interesting to be where so many great recordings happened and sit at the piano in... More

I don't know. I just didn't find this as exciting as Sun Records in Memphis. The old equipment and the stories of Elvis turning on different color lights for atmosphere when he sang various types of songs was interesting.

The history of this studio is something else. Many great artists from all music styles recorded in these hallowed halls. The tour, explanation, information were all very good. This is the place were so much of the magic has happened for many many years.
