Lots of galleries with artifacts on display, some rotating exhibits, a couple theater presentations showcasing country music's impact on television and the video age - all located on the second and third floors of this building. We especially enjoyed seeing the "gold record wall" and the rotunda where each Country Music Hall of Fame member is recognized with a detailed... More

This was a extremely interesting as it takes you through the roots of country music to what it has become today. Some of the old films were awesome to look at and listen to. There were some old automobiles and lots of costumes and instruments that were used by some famous (and some not so famous) country music artists. One... More

I learned a lot of information I did not know -- thought there would be more music but still worth seeing - took about 3 hours to go thru - longer if you read everything

I did this with a group of girl friends while on a bachelorette weekend. We spent a rainy Sunday afternoon here and throughly enjoyed it. We where lucky enough to catch a live fiddle and hammered dulcimer performance while there. I would highly recommend it for most anyone (except for maybe very young children who might get bored before you... More

We have been here before and still went back because they change exhibits often. They have lots of great items. I enjoy the costumes. You may like the posters or the wall of the Hall of Fame members. Figure on 1-2 hours. The tour of studio 2B leaves from here, you pay when you get the ticket for the museum.... More

I grew up on country music. My parents always had Johnny Cash, Tex Ritter, Porter Waggoner or Skeeter Davis playing around the house, but I really had no interest in the music at the time. I like country music, but I wouldn't ordinarily go out of my way to listen to it. So we find ourselves in Music City with... More

The museum is worth a visit. I particularly liked the Oak Ridge Boys private concert in the Banquet Hall with the back drop of floor to ceiling glass overlooking downtown.

If you love the history of music it's a definite to see on your bucket list. Tickets are up there but the museum is nice. Had a pretty extensive collection of apparel guitars and artifacts. We enjoyed seeing the costumes, and the in depth Kenny Rodgers exhibit. Went on a Monday and it wasn't overly crowded. If you are not... More

The time it takes to thoroughly go through it is longer than advertised. We could have taken a whole day and then some when touring it in conjunction with Studio B. Also, there was not much on the last 30 years of country music. Great section on the origins of the music and how it expanded. Section on Bakersfield influence... More
