Plan on spending 2-3 hours as there is alot to see and take in. There is alot of history from the early days and the only downside is from the 90's on there is limited displays. More

just a super well-curated museum with lots of hitory of all thing country music, including Bakersfield CA stuff, not just nashville. Also, food in lobby restaurant was fresh, reasonably priced, and a joy for a break from the lengthy museum More

AAA members can get $18 tickets, don't fall for the ticket "packages". They try to push you to upgrade, not worth it. The food in the atrium is surprisingly good, a very nice place to take a break from touring around downtown. Part of the museum is free - the actual Hall of Fame is open to the public. You... More

Also the Bakersfield Sound Exhibit is wonderful too. See Elvis Presley's 24krt Gold Cadillac complete with a TV and Car... More

We spent at least an hour going thru this museum - Hubby and I enjoyed every minute of it. The only complaint we had is we could not find a cheaper place to park. More

The museum does an excellent job of taking you on a journey through country music timelines. Fun exhibits. Even if you aren't a country music fan, you will enjoy yourself. More

My brother and I recently visited. While he isn't a big country music fan, he thoroughly enjoyed seeing tghis first class music museum. The current featured exhibit is The Bakersfield Sound (think Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, etc.). But there is so much more, from Elvis' gold Cadillac to the Hall of Fame. The museum covers everything from the origins of... More
