My wife and I had our "elopement ceremony" at the Belmont Mansion. IT was a phenomenal location and Rev. Brandon Rick and Ladak Photography made the whole experience simply wonderful. While we were only at the mansion for an hour or so in the evening, we read the entire booklet on our way home the following day, it is quite... More

Our party of five enjoyed the tour of the Belmont Mansion this past weekend. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Price was reasonable, make sure to ask for the AAA discount if you are a member. The gift shop has very good prices on jewelery. Parking lot actually has about two dozen spots. This was a very enjoyable tour with interesting information about an unusual Southern belle who was a bit before her time--tricked both the North and South to get her cotton to market. The rooms are filled with quite a lot of original objects. The master bedroom was being renovated at the time of my visit (April 2012), but from the... More

The is a great place to see grand architectural southern style. After visiting inside, go out to the lawn and sit for a while on the benches. It is really beautiful. More

The tour of the Belmont Mansion is well worth it for history buffs and children around 8 years plus. Tons of furniture and every room is decorated like it was back in the 1800's. The tour guides are VERY knowledgeable and friendly. NOTE: the mansion is IN the Belmont University and has only 4 parking spots; we parked a block... More

It was our first visit to the Belmont Mansion so we did not know what to expect. It is a grand old home with lots of furniture and artifacts. The story of the family was very interesting, as was the house itself. It is snuggled into the Belmont University campus, but the signage is well placed to direct you there.... More

As historic homes go-in the south- this one is nice. The history is okay too. The home is not worth the admission to stroll. More

We visited on the free day for kids with children's crafts available and we had a blast. Staff is very friend and this is a great stop to learn a little history. Just keep in mind, it's only one building in the middle of the campus so you won't be spending your whole day here. More
